Dojoville
The sodden feet lay barefoot against the hard tile of the stone road, the rain soaking the skin thoroughly.
She walked with no real goal, headed in no particular direction, exhaustion burdening her like her hunger... But that was no concern now.
Her large umbrella covered her from the torrent's onslaught, and the long black veil that hung from the sides hid her from view.
And just as it seemed that she would fall from exhaustion, she found slight relief in a bench. It had no cover, but she didn't mind. It was minor solace in a maelstrom.
Her chest heaved slightly, her long breaths accompanied by the distant crack of thunder, and a spiderweb of lightning... So far from home. She wasn't sure where she was... All she knew is that she needed to keep going. A refugee...
//
Time seemed to pass, as she had seemingly drifted off into sleep, and as she awoke she realized that the storm had given way to a clear sky. Stars sparkled above and she let out a sigh of relief.
With a click, she twisted her umbrella handle the veil around her raising up and vanishing inside the contraption, the umbrella folding away a moment later.
And there sat the newest member of the dojo... A strikingly beautiful woman, of strange origin. She had light blue, almost pale skin like a ghost, dotted with black. And along her legs and arms were glowing lines, turquoise in hue. Then there was her hair... Oh her hair... Sunset red, like the falling leaves in autumn. The hair perfectly accompanied her eyes that shimmered like powerful fires, warm and kind. Her face was delicate and gentle, radiating life and joy. She wore a long black dress with a hood, which her hair was neatly folded into, as was a custom of her exotic species. Lastly, there was her crest, hung right above her forehead... Held in place by a metal rod, which also held her hair in place. Signaling her status in her society... Royalty... The rarest blossom of her kind.

But such radiance was diminished by her tired eyes and aching feet. She never wore shoes... So the hard trail had hurt them severely... But the rain had eased away the trial of blood.
It was clear she was no fighter, her exposing attire and soft features making it very apparent... But she was no push over. For such a gentle disposition, she held a kind of strength, a raw passion...
She was lost, she was tired... And maybe even a little hungry... But she didn't dare move. Yet, despite her exhaustion, she felt sleep elude her. She knew she needed some help.
And so she sat, quiet on the bench, her hands folded neatly over her exposed stomach, watching the fireflies dance and parade as they celebrated the new fresh night... And the luminous maze of stars above.
Open! She could use some info for just a talk.
Chloe said nothing, her emotion hidden under the veil. She didn't know what Xavier was saying, but she could recognize the assault rifle as a firearm... That meant danger. "Something the matter...?"
-
"Yeah, someone or something is trying to mess with this dimension's reality stability. If this continues, it'll tear all of us and this place apart. Except for me, since I'm, uhhhh... Special." Xavier lowered his rifle and put his fingers to his head. "Now, where would it be...?" The same polygonal shapes started to come out from him as he concentrated.
-
Chloe had no idea what he meant, or what was going on. She resigned to staying quiet and watching, assuming things would just figure themselves out.
-
Then suddenly, some kinda ghosts appeared. Except that they looked a bit... 'Digitised' and has red eyes. They started to summon some hardlight blades and rush towards Xavier, which he started firing upon the ghosts.
-
Chloe seemed slightly worried, the ground around her suddenly sprouting up to form a protective wall around her. She had little in terms of combat skills, but defense was her specialty.
-
A ghost head starts to emerge from the ground, inside where Chloe's wall was.
-
She looked down, unnerved but not really threatened. With a sudden turn, the lines along her skin turned a horrible and violent red, mov by down her legs and pressing into the cortex of the ghost, causing it to fracture and break... Her abilities stretched to all realms, giving her the ability to break down most substances with a few mere thoughts.
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 10/7/2016 2:27:42 AMAs the ghost's fabric broke down, it let out a ear-pricing scream before exploding into polygonal shapes. A loud crashing could be heard against the wall, where the fight was heard outside. There was something special about the ghost... Like it didn't exist inside of a realm at all.
-
The walls began to slide downwards as she remained hidden behind her veil of cloth, merely looking out to see what was happening.

What unveiled was a huge battle between Xavier and some large creature. It still had the appearance like the other ones, but it looked like a ape and had weird, polygonal shaped skin that looked more like armour than fur. As the creature leaped for a smash, Xavier ran and slid, shooting it as he went. The magnetic bullets didn't seem to affect the creature, due to it's tough skin. The ape, after landing, just simply turned around, roared, and decided to charge. Xavier attempted to fire, but before he could, a piece of rubble which the creature used as a shield blocked the bullets, and was thrown at Xavier. He got sent back with the rubble into a large building, which slightly collapsed on him. Then the creature waited for Xavier's next move.

Chloe, who still had no clue what was going on, outstretched a hand to the sky, lines rocketing up into the air until they tore the sky apart and formed a kind of portal. She didn't really want to... Handle this. Danger wasn't her favorite kind of thing, and she needed an escape route... it would take a moment to open, but it was working...
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 10/9/2016 3:20:48 AMSomehow, the portal started to fluxuate, causing it to not open any further. Seems like in this state of reality, some things cannot be possible. The wreckage where Xavier was launched into started to shuffle a bit.
-
Chloe frowned, her current situation displeasing her greatly. She should have just stayed at the bench... Or at least stopped this man from carrying her around without permission. With a crunch, she brought a wall of lines around her, the color turning red as it swirled to a disk. At least now she had some protection...
-
The rubble was sent flying everywhere as Xavier surged with a purple energy. The creature roared again, but was interrupted by the purple energy blast by Xavier's Psionics. He continued to soul fire at the creature, slowly but surely killing it. The purple lights almost blind Chloe.
-
Heavily frustrated by this point, Chloe launched a wall around to keep out the light, unimpressively annoyed at her current situation. She was going to leave the first chance she got... Too much chaos... Too much.. Everything...
-
There was distorted speech behind her, then the rumbling of explosions against her wall.
-
Chloe starts to hear some disoriented speech from somewhere behind her, then the sound of explosions against her wall. Xavier Carter now was slashing at the creature with his Elerium blade, dodging blind punches.
Is it okay if I interrupt her exit?
Slow, clanking footsteps approached the woman, the clanking being that of metal against more metal. Approaching from the Dojo's gates, was a knight in, well, not so shining armour. In fact, his armour was charred completely black, not a remnant of its once beautifully silver and shining colour remaining. He stood at six feet and ten inches exactly - yet he wasn't lanky, or slender. He was very well built, in fact; muscular and burly, like someone who exercised a whole lot - though not too muscular. He was strong looking, but not strong looking like someone who was addicted to exercise. On his back, sitting in a partial leather sheath, was a seven foot long greatsword, the metal, midnight black, and highly decorated cruciform being the only thing of the weapon that the woman could see. The man then spoke once he stopped about five feet away, the clanking immediately stopping, "Fair maiden.. You should come inside.. To the Dojo." His voice, while soft-spoken, was powerful and deep - which was surprising, with how unbelievably young it sounded.. It sounded like the man was in his mid twenties, in fact.
-
Her eyes widened in surprise at the man. Humans were all so bizarre. And this one... He carried a massive sword. "The D-Dojo...?" She stammered, her words shaky from her exhaustion. But her gaze remained mostly full and lively. Even her skin gave off a slight luminescence, a slight blue glow. Even then, she seemed fragile and frail, and too tired to walk...
-
The man curiously inspected the woman before him, letting a silence fall around them, like a muffling blanket. The man then broke said silence be speaking again, voice remaining friendly and kind, "Further up the mountain.. The Dojo; a place for the mightiest of warriors to battle and socialize - though, from my understanding, it's open to just about anyone.. Do you need to be carried, fair maiden, or do you not even want to go there at all..? Surely there's a reason as to why you've come here.." The knight slowly began drawing closer, his armour clanking gently again, each step his metal boots took making a gentle thud. He then stopped again once he had taken two steps, leaving him feet or two away. "My name is Remy, by the way. Remy of Lordran."
-
She stared a moment, slightly baffled by the information she was receiving. Mightiest warriors? Dojo? That was far from home alright. But she also remembered the ache in her body for sleep and rest. She felt like she couldn't move another step... And being carried...? That sounded strange... People weren't animals... Usually animals did carrying. "Fair m-maiden...? C-Carry...?" She didn't understand.... And she felt silly for it. She was just getting used to humans... This was... Out of her league.
-
The knight remained patient and understanding; the woman didn't look human, so he had guessed that, well, she wasn't. "Fair maiden," Remy silently began, the words soft-spoken and gentle, "Just a nickname, truly.. And yes, carry. Look at your feet.. they're bruised and battered.. I can't let you walk another step, so.. do you want my to carry you up to the Dojo?" Truly, this was his chivalrous side speaking - he was a knight, after all.. or, at least he looked the part. Maybe he was just being a gentleman. "Or, do you want to go to an inn in this town, to stay the night?"
-
She looked Remy up and down. She'd have to think like Desmond. She wasn't exactly distrustful, in fact, her naivety made it hard for her to assume bad things about a person. Then the problem boiled down to what e was talking about. What exactly was an 'inn'. "E-Either works..." She mumbled, quietly trying to reason on what he meant. Inn was somewhere to spend the night, so perhaps a human house...? She couldn't say.

Normally the path to anywhere on the planet of Tatakai was like taking the highway to the Danger Zone, though seeing as she was in the village that was home to the most powerful combatants, mages, warriors and fighters on the face of the planet that was Tatakai, she was in relative safety on the path. Though in the scenery that surrounded the royal beauty was a watcher, not one who intended any harm or one that wished to simply stay afar and watch, though this little watcher was more a protector of the people including those who had approached the Dojo and any other place, for it was a vow he made many moons past. A tall, 6'2 figure uncloaked himself just beside the woman on the bench, as he was not sitting down beside her rather he was standing tall on the other side of her. The man looked to be quite the imposing figure due to the tiger striped cloak he bore on his extremely well built body, and the mask he wore on his head which was orange like the colour of his cloak, though one of the eyes was a black colour while the other one, the right, was a blood red shade. He had an arsenal of weapons that was not limited to the hilts of three unignited swords on the belt that wrapped around his waist, a set of four revolvers in the colour of Red, White, Blue and one being distinct, as Ranger Sequoia was a gift. He had a sniper assault rifle, and massive box-shaped gun all on his back, a feint hum coming from the sleek rifles while the box, a Mini Bolter, was just heavy. "Mind if I sit?" Asked the strange figure, his voice laced by an accent of Canadian heritage, for this wanderer hailed from Toronto. Mild in comparison to the fantastical lands many were from, but that was one thing that made this man unique in comparison to others.
