Dojo Courtyard // 1200 hours // Just a runic mage
Alyssa was in a particularly good mood.
While she never said why she was so, she never could conceal her emotions very well. It was obvious that the twenty-three year old was lovestruck, and even a child could figure that out. As she strolled into the courtyard with a bounce in her step, she looked around, smiling like a madwoman. Her brown, shoulder length hair was tied back in its usual, tight ponytail, her thick glasses reinforced with extra duct tape. She wore what she always wore; a pair of faded blue skinny jeans, and a loose, white, button-up shirt. She pulled a simple, three foot long, metallic longsword from a bin in the corner of the courtyard, a training sword. Swordplay had always interested her, and she decided that now she was a member at this "dojo", she should finally try it out. Of course she was open to do other forms of training and studying, however.
((Open, short post. Socialization, or training. Whichever.))

Edited by NOTAPUBLICALT: 10/5/2016 1:12:08 AM"Errraaaaaaaah," Alyssa murmured, stumbling around, and staring at everything, laughing and pointing. "Whoa!" She said, looking at her own skin. "I'm African now! Cool!" She looked over at Frisky. "You are too!"
-
"Hehehehe... Knew you'd like it. It's great. It's soooo fun to make people happy."
-
"Why d'you sound sarcastic?" Alyssa said, stumbling towards Frisky with a grin on her face. "Meh, maybe you don't. I dunno. I dunno anything, really."
-
"When we're high, nobody knows anything. Not even us. I'm on some even more hardcore stuff than what I gave you. Gooood stuff."
-
Frisky looked really confused. "Why are you staring at the genocidal maniac?"
-
Oh, happy to see you in good spirits Alyssa. *Mortar seems to have formed right next to you, a smile on his face*
-
Alyssa smiles back at Mortar, not even knowing the guy. "Hi!" She replied, shoving her left hand into the corresponding pocket of her jeans, jammed the tip of the sword into the terrain of the courtyard.
-
What have you been doing lately? I'm Mortar by the way. *He takes a chip bag from his pocket and starts eating them* You want some?
-
"Totally," She said, smiling gratefully at Mortar. She shifted, eager to get training with the sword.
-
*He hands her the bag, still smiling* That's a nice blade there. Wanna test it out?
-
She munches on some chips, then nods, not bothering to wipe crumbs off her thin lips. "Leggo!" She says enthusiastically, mouth still full as she gripped the blade with two hands, her stance not perfect but not the worst, either.
-
Hmm... We could improve the stance but not bad at all. *He takes a few steps back, forming his blade. It is four and a half feet long, four inches long, and dark blue, It seems to be a mix of a katana and a broadsword. When fully formed, it ignites in ominous emerald green flames* You first

Alyssa nods, charging at Mortar, and throwing a slash horizontally, from right to left. It wasn't all that strong of a slash, and wouldn't do more than make a shallow cut if it hit him.

Charlie came walking into the courtyard looking rather upset. It was obvious why, almost everyone was looking at him with malicious stares and some even shouted horrible things at him.
-
Alyssa looked over at Charlie, and somehow her smile widened. She ran up to him, looking up at his face. "Hi," She said breathlessly.
-
Charlie immediately replaced his gloom face with a smile upon noticing Alyssa. "Hello, Miss Alyssa. Having a good day?"
-
"Y-yeah. You?" She asked, looping her right arm around Charlie's left, having to turn her face up quite a lot to see his, a full nine inches above hers.
-
"Uhhh..." Charlie looked around at all of the people giving him stares before looking back down at Alyssa and replying. "...G-Great! Really! I mean, the weather and uhh the people are so...kind?" One of the nearby people makes a threatening gesture.
-
Alyssa looks over at the one to make the rude gesture, and grits her teeth in anger. She looked as though she was about to walk over and punch the guy, but quickly turned back to Charlie, smiling again. "Hey, it'll be alright! Promise."
-
"Ha. Tell that to the people who want me dead. Why do they want me dead anyway? I honestly can't remember anything before waking up with you on top of me."
-
Alyssa's smile faltered, but soon regained its solidity. "Dunno... they're prejudiced," She said, hugging Charlie closer to herself. "Nobody's fault but theirs!"
-
Charlie hugged her back loosely as he was still focused on the reasoning behind the hate. "You have to have some idea. I mean, you knew me before I lost my memory. Was it something I did?"
-
"No clue!" Alyssa said genuinely, sighing as Charlie hugged her, kissing his cheek lightly.
-
Charlie chuckled and kissed her on the cheek as well. "Well, what was my job then? All I remember is a room...and office I think. I'm a psychiatrist...should I be at work somewhere? Where's my family? Do I have family?" Charlie was getting very anxious.
-
"I-I dunno, Charlie...." Alyssa's jolly mood was fading, fading into worry for Charlie. "But you have me... I think."
