"Of course."
He walks off towards Vain as a dozen and a half soldiers ran out, Vain amongst them
English
-
*Mortar dissolves into the ground, to get ready for the search and rescue*
-
The nineteen troops that Magrim had promised await in the the courtyard with a fountain, talking amongst themselves. The one named Vain is sitting on a beach, not speaking to anyone
-
*Mortar simply works on the one set of armor, changing it to fit his body, spray painting it, and giving it advancements not added on it before*
-
They wait, playing cards "How much longer sir?" "Not much."
-
*After a few hours Mortar forms in front of them. He looks nothing like he did last time, all clad in black armor, a red hard light visor over his face, and knives attached to his arms and three rows of knives going down his back. When he speaks his voice is more metallic* Ready when you are
-
"Sir, is that you?" Vain seems suprised and a little shocked
-
Yeah it's me. *The helm retracts revealing his face. He nods a little before it slides over his head again*
-
"Very nice sir. Very nice indeed. The men are ready. We'll be taking a troop carrier there."
-
Alright. Let's just get this over with. *He starts following the men to the carrier*
-
The team loads up into one of the many carriers that are there. We launch off, heading away from the dojo "ETA, five minutes." "So, Sir, you've been to islands I hear?"
-
Yeah. I'd suggest bringing a lot of food. The animals here will try to separate you all so if that happens at least you can find a small cave and live off of what you brought.
-
"Most of the men are packed with a week worth's of food. So I think we're good on that front." "ETA, Three minutes"
-
Alright then, so that's good. How's your armor? Tough? Durable?
-
"It's pretty durable. I think it'll be strong enough."
-
Alright, whatever you say. Then again, you've never gone here, so learn by doing I guess. *He chuckles slightly while looking at everything around him*
-
"ETA, Sixty seconds!" "Live and learn huh? I guess we'll see."
-
Yeah. Let's just go in, get the people and get out. Can't risk someone "exploring"
-
"TWENTY SECONDS BOYS! "Why not?"
-
Can't risk having to find MORE people. Let's just get the job done. Take pictures of what you DO come across though... Just do it quickly
-
"Got it." "TEN, NINE, EIGHT, SEVEN, SIX, FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE. Good Luck out there boys!" The ship shakes as it lands on the rough terrain, and the doors Open and the troops pour out
-
*Mortar follows, forming his sword* Alright, try getting a transmission from these men you lost so we can find them
-
"Yes sir. CHRIS!" A man with with a heavy looking back back jogs up. "Yes sirs?" "Contact the lost troops if you can." He nods, getting down on one knee and taking the bag off. He pulls out a radio, turning it on "Squadron Delta Miner please respond." Static "Delta Miner, respond." More static
-
*Mortar takes the Radio from Chris* Unless you're running for your damn life I suggest you respond so we can rescue you! *He hands the radio back to Chris*
-
More static. "Sir they're not answering." "We see that Chris, thank you."
-
Yes... Well they're either dead or their radios aren't working. Normally I'd say let's leave and not risk Losing more, but let's be optimistic
