*He hears her thank him but sees her change in body language and assumes that somehow he might have insulted her.*
Oh, n-no... Did I s-say s-something bad?
*His ears droop down a little as he looks her up and down with his catlike brown eyes.*

"N-No...! I'm just... N-Not very good w-with compliments." She hesitated for a moment before returning her eyes to his gaze, her cheeks still somewhat red.
-
O-Okay... Then w-was your r-reaction good? Sorry, I-I'm not good w-with body language. *He smiles at her for a second before looking back down.*
-
"I was just nervous..." She replied, her voice beginning to turn more steady as she rested. The cold and exhaustion eventually fading away to be replaced by her usual gentle and kind disposition.

Edited by Skatch142: 10/4/2016 11:56:18 PMO-Okay... Well, d-don't worry... I'm probably t-twice as n-nervous... *He looks back up at her, grinning happily without realizing.* So... W-What's your name? S-Sorry I should h-have asked e-earlier...
-
"Chloephina... Chloe for short." She replied, giving him a meek smile, something that was filled with warmth despite her current state.
-
*He repeats it a couple of times under his breath as if trying to familiarize himself with the sounds.* Th-That's a beautiful name... I-I'm Vorim'Tairn...
-
"I'll call you Vorim..." She remarked, knowing she'd forget otherwise. She had a simple mind after all. "It's very nice to meet you..." She bowed her head in respect, a sign of equality and peace.
-
*Vorim bowed back, grinning the whole time.* "So... W-What brings you here?" *Oddly, he seems to start stuttering less and starts seeming more comfortable with her.*
-
"Traveling... Avoiding the past... Maybe even looking for some adventure." She shrugged slightly, her shoulders rolling slightly as her dress scatters with dozens of brightly glowing lines... The hooded attire almost seemed connected with her. "It's a long story... How about you? You seem to know your way around here." She looked at him, her eyes large pulls of autumn colors that seemed to gaze at him endlessly, like never ending blazes.
-
*He seems entranced by her eyes. She notices his lip quiver a little bit before he shakes his head, managing to break her spell on him.* "My b-brother came here first... It was an accident for him and he wandered around for two years before finding the Dojo... Then my cousin c-came. It was an accident for her too. Our parents discovered how to make a slip drive which can transport you between dimensions. Their ship came here and left without her. I came to the Dojo a few months ago. I came on purpose though because st-stuff got kind of crazy back where I lived... This may be an odd thing to ask you so quickly, but, would you like to come live in the Dojo too?"
-
"The Dojo?" She questioned, looking around carefully before surmising that she had managed to find such a place. "What happens there...?"
-
"People go there to train and fight mostly, but it can be a home for anyone and everyone... Even my brother, cousin and I can live there, and we're all horrifying animal people..." *His ears droop down when he says that last part and he looks a little sad.*
-
"I don't see many animals... Or people... So I think you are interesting. And interesting people are the best." She wasn't lying. Years kept away in the royal citadels of her home had made her so naive of the real world... Even animals a foreign concept. "Besides... All I see are humans... So I won't fit in either."
-
"Oh, well thank you..." *He smiles at her, his ears pricking back up.* "I think you'd fit in fine... I like you and you're very pretty." *Vorim is startled by the random boost of confidence but didn't show it.*
-
Chloe didn't ever quite pick up on his emotions, but perhaps it was for the best. Her own gentle aura and soothing mood made it easy to slip away into peaceful thoughts. Like a monk, or maybe some enthralling tale. She just had such a wonderful effect... "Well... Thank you... You are very kind." She wasn't one for words however, we struggle to communicate with larger sentences a fault of her old home life... But she wouldn't say... She was just a quiet person by default.
-
Well, there are quite a few stairs on the way up there and you look very tired... Would you like me to carry you up? *He asked, his head tilted a little and eagerly awaiting her reply.*

Edited by Chesh I Guess: 10/5/2016 4:39:32 AM"N-No! That won't be necessary... I'll head up shortly... I just need more rest..." She sighed briefly and slowly moved her hand to his, taking it carefully and exposing his pads and palm. There, slowly, like brilliant magic, a small blue follower suddenly bloomed from nothingness. "There... A water rose... That means I promised..."
-
*He looks between her and the flower.* A... A water rose?
-
"Yes... A plant I learned to grow." She mused, the flower giving off a gentle blue haze, small flakes swirling around it.
-
It's beautiful... Thank you... I'll-I'll just wait here with you until you're ready to start moving... *Despite continuing to speak, he still seems to still be stunned by either her beauty or the flower's beauty.*
-
She nodded slightly, closing her eyes as she drifted back off into sleep... She seemed so fragile in this state, like porcelain that could crumble from the wind... But her own mystery seemed to be a shield as well, blocking out danger at the same time.
-
*He noticed the shield but decided it'd be best he didn't touch it. He looked her up and down, fighting off the urge to try and curl up around her protectively. He knew what was happening, he had just fallen in love with this strange woman who he had just met. He sits quietly and patiently, waiting to spring into action when she awakes.*
-
Time seemed to pass, but it hung loosely before her eyes flutter open once more, relief now in their glow... She seemed more lively than before... Better rested for sure. With a quiet yawn she looked around, slightly disoriented at first before she turned and saw Vorim, immediately remembering where she was. She gave him a smile before looking down at her feet, raising them slightly, looking at the horrible gashes tears along their soles.

Edited by Skatch142: 10/5/2016 5:42:19 PMHey, how did you- *He sees the state that her feet are in and looks back up at her, clearly concerned.* Your-Your feet! Do they hurt?! You can't walk like that! Especially considering how many steps there are! Please let me carry you up, I insist... *He seemed legitimately concerned for her, his eyes reflecting his worry as they looked into hers.*

She said nothing, merely staring down at the journey ravaged skin for another moment. Then the green lines began to swarm around her legs, snaking down her legs and dress, moving across to her feet, her wounds suddenly closing and repairing themselves as the lines dance over them brilliantly... Then it made sense... She was a healer. "I just... Needed rest." It was nice to repair after some time, her journey having taken the ability away through an extended period of time.
