I chuckle, it was clear she didn't know what any of what I just said was. I pull out a bottle of a dark brown liquid, and I take out one of the pieces of roasted gecko, along with a plate I had happened to have on me. Guess I just ended up with it when I was raiding the Legion. I put the roasted gecko on the plate, and hold it out for her to take, along with the cola.
"You don't eat Nuka-Cola. You drink it. Here's it, and some gecko, has a pretty neutral taste. If you want anything else, tell me."

Edited by Chesh I Guess: 10/7/2016 1:55:23 AM"Gecko...?" She looked at the food quietly quietly, not wanting to be rude. But she didn't really know what she was about to consume. Cola was drinkable... That wasn't bad. And the Gecko looked... Dead... It was large and... Large. She couldn't really use adjectives to describe the thing she was looking at.

"Dammit did I forget to cut it again... Second time this week." I pull a Bowie knife from my coat, and start sawing at the gecko's golden hide. Gecko hides get really tough when heated up, so I had to use a knife. Normally I'd just tear it apart, but golden geckos were tougher than most. Tasted way better, though. I cut a piece of it off, then set in on the plate. "There. Much better."

She looked at it closely, trying to peer into the back of her mind to what this food thing looked like. Well... Food was food. Yet, despite her hunger, she only took small bites, nibbles even. Old habit that refuses to die. Of course she nodded her thanks, her face beaming with gratitude.
-
I could tell that she was thankful for it, her face read as much. Though, I did think it was weird that she was taking small nibbles, even though she was obviously very hungry. At this point, I was thoroughly confused about her in general, really. It was then I saw one of them on the horizon. I very quickly put my helmet on, and switched on the sneak sight. I pulled out my Anti-Material rifle, and took aim. I was about to squeeze the trigger. One shot, and he's dead. I then thought about what would happen to the lady beside me if I started a fight. She has no armor. No visible weapons. She'd be torn to shreds. I sigh as I put my rifle back on my back, and take my helmet back off.

She saw the motion. She wasn't dumb after all. She said nothing, but merely gave him an understanding look. She was naive, but she was also perceptive... And she was more protected than he thought. With a gentle smile, she pulled a small near perfect circular stone from her dress, holding it carefully. She wasn't a fighter, but she had protection...
-
I noticed her motion as well, is Rangers have to be trained to keep an eye on everything, after all. If she had any protection, it probably wasn't enough to stop a hail of .50 MG explosive rounds. Normally I'd shoot, but I'd rather not have another innocent under my "People I've Gotten Killed" list. Not again. Never again. I turn back over to her. "Sorry about that. It's one of the Legion. I just can't help but want to pop their heads like water balloons when they get near. Wouldn't want to get you killed."
-
She shrugged. She still didn't know who he was referring to. But it didn't matter. She'd keep herself safe one way or another... "I see..." She responded simply, not really going to interrogate him about his situation.
-
"I have a question for you. What exactly are you? You don't look human, and I haven't seen any other races like yours. That wasn't meant to be insulting, just so you know." I was genuinely curious. It's not often I see a blue lady walk into the Dojo. In fact, it hadn't happened before today.
-
"Elunove, from a land of darkness... not really like a bad place... Just in a constant state of night time. Only one out of daylight." She thinks back to her old home and the memories she had left behind... It was sad, but freeing.
-
"Wow... No sunlight? That's something I can only imagine in the Sierra Madre... And even then, I can't exactly imagine it well... but I meant, like, what is the name of your race?"
-
"The Elune." She responded, looking down at her hand as her fingers twirled and sparked with green lines. Such a bizarre race, but one with plenty of mystery to give off just the right amounts by of dangerousness.
-
"Woah woah woah. What was that? Those little green lines from your fingers? Haven't seen anything like that since I had a tour in the Big Empty. Weird stuff there..." I was genuinely confused. Learning new things by the second. Wasn't really my forte. Can't really take information all at once.
-
"Just something we all have... It's as natural as blinking or breathing." She responded, clasping her hands together so that the lines burst all along her body in a brilliantly beautiful display.
-
"That's... Super fûcking cool. All your people have it? Damn. That's awesome." I was legitimately impressed. I'd never seen anything like it. Well, besides the Big Empty, but I've already mentioned that. "Yeah, I've got nothing special like that. Lest you count the weird pocket thing."
-
"I can't say I know what it is... But most human items are incredibly fascinating. Most even have a use." In a way, they traded off, feeding each other generally useless, but interesting info. Chloe could appreciate the simple talk, and she could appreciate the fact that he had an impressive arsenal. She didn't carry much... But she knew a weapon when she saw one.
Sorry, should've clarified, but the gecko is from mutated geckos that are huge.

I said roasted gecko as in it's not the entire thing. It's just like a cut off of it. And I feel really bad about being this nitpicky.
