(Short theory) So I'm sure you've heard the theory about Rezyl being Yor by now. But I'm suborn and like the titans' clean record. This will discuss who Yor might be (in terms of what class he is) and his story I’m going to say Yor is a hunter, based on the fact that Yor had a cloak, his rose was a hunter artifact, and the thorn being a hand cannon (a hunter’s signature weapon). I would also like to mention that the majority of his targets are hunters. Most of the people he killed and planned to kill were out in the wild, which suggests a he likes a good hunt... Granted cloaks don't seem to belong only to hunters, (saladin) but there's still the matter of the rose and the gun being a hand cannon which was not the weapon choice of Rezyl. (which was an auto-rifle) Combine all that and there's more evidence pointing to a hunter. Granted there's a lot of things pointing to Rezyl, but there's reasonable doubt that comes with these items and his actions. Now onto Yor's past. Allow me to give you an alternative line of events. What I think happened is, Rezyl went to the moon and found that the hive were waking. His told his ghost to stay put if he should fall in a place where his ghost can’t reach. He then got caught by Xyor. After a while, the ghost decided that Rezyl must have fallen and sent word back to earth. The tower sent guardians to investigate and the battle of burning lakes happened. Then more guardians were sent to reclaim the moon, but Crota and his armies stomped them flat. I believe it is in this time-frame when Yor came to rise. A: One brave or possibly foolish hunter went back to the moon, (possibly in search of Rezyl). B: A hunter could have been stranded on the moon for awhile after the great disaster (may have been a participant) and decided to pick up on the trail of Rezyl. Either way, He came to the same place Rezyl was and met with the wizard Xyor. I think Xyor may have offered the hunter power but only if he killed Rezyl (something along those lines). From Rezyl’s light, the cursed thorn would be made. Later, Yor would go on to dominate the crucible and kill Thalor. He’d relieve his ghost of it’s duty and go on to kill Pahanin, Jarren ward, three other unknown people, and probably more. He would then later be killed by Shin Malphur. TL;DR: Yor is a hunter who may have killed Rezyl in order to craft thorn. Short and sweet. Edit: I know Rezyl used a hand cannon but he only ever used it once and there was absolutely not significant about it.
