"Should be much quieter once I replace this thing. I'll drop off the tanker, cut the power to the place for a day and swap it all out. I'll add a little bit of extra noise proof padding for added measure. Anyways I'm guessing apart from the ominous hum you probably want to know what's going on in here."

"Your business is your business as a dojo member. I know, I am one as well. But if you'd care to explain."

"May as well since you are here. Anyways my original plan for here to be a place to help improve on the Amanitin. You may have seen a few large mushrooms in the forest which seem to breath. Recently I came across an apparent god like entity who was far to powerful to spar without blowing their sparring partner through a few buildings on accident. To sum it up I'm working on a device ment to let someone like that limit their power when they feel like it. The groundwork is pretty much finished so I'm currently checking various minerals to see which one is most suitable. Stress tests, benchmarks, efficiency have a few worthy candidates so far but nothing perfected."

"That's perfect for some of the members here"
-
"Thanks, I was honestly a little worried people might get the wrong idea when I went public with them."
-
"Well is it optional?"
-
"Yeah besides, they all have programable off switch for whenever they feel like being in 'all their glory'"

"I don't see why anyone would go Against It."

Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 10/7/2016 6:58:22 PM"It's more that they might get a bit scared that someone was able to create something that can bring a God a few notches down. Next thing you know 'what else can someone who can do that be capable of?' Becomes the word on the street. I'm probably still going to go through with making them though I am curious how the masses will react."
-
"The masses would come after you. Most likely."
-
"Still, it's too good a discovery to not release out to those who would be interested. Now I know you are security and this is probably a strange proposition but one of my prototypes are definitely worth field testing. I checked all the safety features and the energy source and everything seems to be functioning properly. Worst case the thing fizzles out and then it's back to the drawing board. Any chance you know any volunteers?" She removes a metal arm band out of a glass case and shows it to the guards. In general it appears very similar to her own restriction gear though with a small vent on the front of it.
-
"These guys right here." He points at the guards
-
"Huh. Well I guess when security is high priority may as well opt for all powerful beings. Anyways try this on and let me know how you feel. If I got it right it should basically act as a flip switch between being limited to logic and being your usual self. Other than that just let me know if it feels." She then hands it over to a guard, shows him the switch on the side and prepares to take notes.
-
The guard takes it, and gulps "You can do it!" The Knight stands next to you, snickering "But sir-" "Man up!" He puts it on and flips the switch
-
There is a second of weakness and a light dizzy sensation. After the initial effects wear off there is a light shocking sensation. "Hmm needs more insulation I guess. Try doing something unnatural like making a fireball or a lightning bolt. Whatever it is you usually do"
-
"I don't have any powers ma'am" "Yeah not many of the guards have powers.... Here give it to me." The guard tries taking it off
-
"It's the latch on the side" Walking over to help remove it. "Alright pretty much the same thing though if your sensitive to shocks I'd probably not use it till I insulate the lining on the arm peice."
-
"I'll be fine Thanks." The Knight puts it on and flips the switch. "Here's the test." He draws his hammer and gently taps it into the ground, normally a Shockwave would erupt
-
A Shockwave still happens though to a lesser extent. Ama looks down at her broken tea cup for a second and back to her tablet. "Let's see here... the power source is working properly and it didn't burn out. The metal did hold up. Must need to improve the flow of energy on the system though I'd still call it a bit of a success. Thanks for the help by the way."
-
"Yeah its no problem." He takes it off successfully and hands it back
-
"I'll probably check the data I recorded on that one to make sure it was only the flow of energy and fine tune a few things but I'm honestly pretty surprised it worked so well for a first try. Here" She hands the knight a peice of paper with a number on it. "I'll probably be working out the kinks in the device and replacing the cooling system for the most part but if you need my help with anything or just curious how this project is going feel free to contact me. I'm usually up late so any hour shouldn't be a problem."
probably going to do a part 2 to this arc.
-
"Yeah that makes sense. I'll call if I need to know anything."
