"God damn it life, I just -blam!-ed her, now you gotta try and -blam!- me?" JT said to literally nobody in particular as he slowly grasped his assault rifle from the couch, and made way towards Alyssa. He wasn't just going to avoid making sure she was alright, seeing as he wasn't the hit-and-quit type of dude, and more or less someone who genuinely cared and wanted to make sure she was okay which is what he went to do.
Walking to the chair where Alyssa was, JT seemed to sit on nothing as his knees locked up to create a chair of sorts for him to rest on, which would be strange if it weren't for his metal legs.
"Are you sure you're okay? You didn't exactly sound to be in the best shape."

"Jay, if you think I'm gonna... die," Alyssa said jokingly, glancing over at JT. "Then you're definitely wrong." She smiled painfully, however when she looked over at the cowboy, he could see droplets of blood in her eyes. As she began to lose strength, it was getting harder and harder to breath, and with less oxygen, she felt herself struggling to stay conscious.
-
Panic struck the Marshal near instantaneously when the breathing audibly worsened from the oxygen deprivation, so emergency maneuvers were to be expected from a cowboy that didn't want to let her lose a life. He shot himself up as he darted to the controls of the flying train, and attempted to pull out the fuel that was in there by hand, lest the train wouldn't drop and the altitude would stay farther from the trees and oxygen of the planet.
-
The fuel stayed in the train, however its autopilot was already having it descend, luckily. Soon beneath the clouds, the L.I.M.B. Clinic was seen in Dojoville. Alyssa's breathing got a little better due to the lower altitude, but not by much. Her eyes were closed, her entire face drenched in sweat. "Jay... try to find... somebody... with similar... symptoms...." Alyssa wheezed out, before lapsing into silence, focusing on her breathing.
-
"I will," JT said as he darted to Alyssa's side and knelt on the right of the chair. He had made a promise to the woman right there and then through a look in his cyan eyes, as he promised verbally and spiritually to. "I promise."
-
Alyssa smiled at JT with her eyes still closed, her brows furrowed in concentration to stay conscious. Just then, a woman walked through Dojoville, around thirty two. Bald, with artificial, violet eyes. The chainsaw on her back practically screamed that it was Violet Acciaroli, and the cowboy recalls her saying something about a rare, deadly disease she had. Best ask her about it, even if the attempt is fruitless.
-
"Just like old times..." JT joked to himself as the writer decided to do something he did ages ago. And so he jumped from the elevated position he was in as he tried to land in front of Violet. As his boots hit the ground below and his knees bent, he slowly got up from the one knee position he was in, and turned his head right to speak to Violet. "Violet."
-
Violet blinked in confusion, then smiled at JT, recognizing him. "Okay, first of all, teach me how to be Batman like that," She jested. "Secondly, long time no see! How yah bee?"
-
"Busy," he calmly stated. In truth that was bullshit seeing as his day-to-day plan is largely just him hanging out in the clinic, but he rarely told anyone his day plans as they fluctuated. "You remember that disease you told me about?"
-
Violet frowned slightly, unsure how to think of that question; she'd never been asked about it before. "... yes, why?" She asked, now cautiously, her right arm unconscious covering the pocket full of her medicine protectively.
-
"I know someone that may or may not have gotten it. Bleeding worse than an African with Ebola as we speak." JT literally could not think of any other way to describe it.
-
Violet's eyes widened with shock and disbelief, having never before heard somebody else contracting the disease before. She gulped, nodding. "Lead the way," She said briskly, pulling out a massive, five inch long syringe.
-
JT extended a hand towards Violet, as him just sprinting over was likely a much faster thing than them both going, as he could afford to carry her and still haul ass.
-
Violet grasped JT's hand, beginning to sprint towards the train; she knew what the disease did, and if they didn't reach whoever had the disease soon enough, they would likely die. The first attack always took the longest to kill; they likely had time.
-
While Violet sprinted, JT lunged with his metallic legs, which already had muscles twice as strong as the average human, but on top of that he also had springs within his legs and joints to propel him further, as that was also affected by the five hundred pounds he weighed in at due to the metals. So he was likely running at around fifty miles per hour, something he was going at quite quickly, and as such he had to literally lift his arm so Violet would be trailing behind him. He just hoped the train was outside.
-
The train was still there, having not moved an inch. Violet yelled as JT suddenly sprinted forward, but soon quieted down. The door to the conductor's cabin was wide open, with Alyssa lying in the recliner, her eyelids shut and stained with blood as well as her entire face, blood exuding from her sweat pores. Her breathing was so shallow it was nearly undetectable, but it was still there. Violet gasped audibly, and ran up to Alyssa, jabbing the syringe into her left arm, pumping the lime green medicine inside it into Alyssa. Slowly, she stopped bleeding, and her breathing gradually grew better, however she was unconscious.
-
"Son of a bltch..." JT mumbled to himself upon seeing her condition, though he wasn't blaming her, rather he was beating himself up over this entire ordeal and the hell that would go on for her. "So who's place is she staying at, mine or yours?"
-
"She needs medicine, first... maybe in the form of a mask the releases a gas version of this," Violet gestured towards the syringe. "That she can inhale whenever she feels an attack coming on. If she had that, she could continue living alone; although it may be a good idea for me to tag along with her wherever she goes—unless you're willing to?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at JT. Violet didn't mind either way, rather liked giving people options.
-
"I'll do what I can to keep her alive," JT honestly said as he looked to Violet's eyes as his own showed a look of desperation and need for the woman to live, because he blames himself for not being able to help more. "If you can't or don't want to take her then I will."
-
Violet looked at JT for a moment, then shook her head. "I dunno, cowboy. She might not want to live like this, relying on medicine and a mask to keep her alive." She said this bluntly, truthfully, as there was no beating around the bush.
-
"So what're you suggesting?" JT asked. He had a few ideas as to how she could be staying alive, like a pump for the stuff or an Automatic Injector Sleeve, though they were both expensive to get the meds for.

Edited by Crrowly: 10/11/2016 3:16:09 AM"A mask," Violet said again, before launching into an in-depth explanation. "This particular disease targets certain parts of your body and makes them useless or severely damaged. In my case, my dominant arm was rendered useless. In this case, something in her throat or neck that makes it harder for her to breath. This injection won't last long, as the part of her body that isn't working is in her neck. Thing is, I don't know how smart jamming a syringe into somebody's throat is, so the next best thing is to inhale the medicine somehow. I suggest that she wear a mask constantly, with canisters of a gas version of this medicine inside them, so when she feels an attack coming on she can immediately release some of the medicine to inhale. Do you think you can manage to make something like that?"
-
"I install prosthesis and neural augmentations on people by performing brain and other forms odd surgery," Said JT with a smug smile on his face. "I can make a mask for her."
-
"Get to work quickly, please," Violet murmured, ready to inject Alyssa again when the disease began to act up again. "It doesn't have to be pretty—oh, gosh, she's losing her hair already.... That's a side effect of the medicine." And indeed, strands of brown hair were beginning to fall off Alyssa's head.
-
"Shit,, let's go!" Shouted the cowboy louder than the ringing of a gun, as he picked up the woman and put her over his right shoulder. he sprinted into the clinic as the sliding doors opened, and as he entered, he got some strange looks when entering the surgery rooms and passing the waiting room. He pretty much slammed Alyssa on the surgery table harder than he slammed her in the non-canon part of this interaction, and he grabbed a gas mask from one of the crates littered about the room, alongside a Bunsen burner and a large Erlenmeyer flask with a rubber stopper. "Pass me a vial, quick!" He shouted to Violet as he prepared a little Bill Nye and Walter White shit.
-
Violet pulled from her pocket a vial of lime green medicine, handing it over to the cowboy as slowly, more and more strands of hair were falling. There was no question that Alyssa would end up bald, just like Violet, however otherwise, it didn't appear as though Alyssa was in any immediate danger—not that it that it meant that the cowboy could take his leisurely time.
