*Suddenly, Sapphire flips and her propulsion pack fires, sending her back towards the etherial being. A band on her right wrist glows blue as a hard light spear forms. She aims it towards the being's back while they are both distracted by their self-congratulating.*
[spoiler]Meh, my characters certainly like the kittens and the puppies, but I think killing children is worse... What about their parents? Did they understand death yet? What were they thinking just before? What were their hopes and dreams? Is it obvious that I clearly overthink this kind of thing when I read it?[/spoiler]

[u]As she hurtles towards the two, Russ begins to turn with a frown on his face. A black and yellow revolver materializes into his hand as he raises his arm, the hammer already pulled back and ready to fire. As he pulls the trigger, a singular bang rings out as a bright projectile the size of a human head is fired. A few feet out of the barrel, the mass flashes before splitting into fourteen other bullets which fly towards Sapphire in a wide arc. Cycling to the next chamber, Russ keeps the gun aimed at her.[/u] "[i]ATTACKING YOUR OPPONENT WHILE THEY'RE HAVING SOME MALE BONDING TIME IS RUDE! WHY, YOU'RE MORE TRIGGERED THEN A GROUP OF FEMINIST SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS IN A TRIGONOMETRY CLASS ON THEIR PERIODS![/i]" [u]A loud announcer's voice echoes throughout the city, even louder then Russ.[/u] "[i]DISRESPECTFULLY BADASS BURN![/i]" [u]An epic guitar solo then echoes throughout the city, wreaking havoc on anybody's ears too close to Russ's location.[/u]

*The explosions seem to harmlessly brush past her armor as the rocket things hit it. She stabs at the the being's shoulder as she comes down onto him with the force of a tiger wearing an exo-suit that weighs about 250lbs*

[spoiler]Hm. Okay. Let me wrap my head around this. Yes, I get Sapphire has an exo-suit, and yes I know it's strong, but "Harmlessly brush past her"? That's utter bullshit. Yeah, she'd probably go unharmed, but a small explosion is going knock somebody off of their goddamn course if their flying, let alone knock them back from the pressure from the blast. Unless you're not going to ignore shit, I ain't dealing with this bullshit man.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]She has the propulsion pack pushing her forward. It's gotta be strong to move a 250lb kitty cat through the air and a single burst from it is not going to be enough to keep her airborne over long distances. I said she came down with the force of a 250lb metal tiger, but going what speed? I'm aware that the shockwave could slow her down, but the strength of the payload in the rockets isn't stated, so you are meant to decide how fast she is actually traveling.[/spoiler]

[u]Let me give you a quick lesson in physics my feline friend, if she were to be constantly propelled by the rocket pack, the effect of an external force (in this case, the shockwave of a small explosion) would still be enough to knock her off course, even with the weight behind it and the constant propulsion. Without the constant propellant, she would be easily knocked off course because when a shockwave hits it pushes the air around it to create a pulse of motion that pushes the surroundings away, let alone completely stop since the explosion was a direct hit. If she was standing on the ground, I could understand it not effecting her as much and simply slowing her down, but she's specifically flying towards him which is a big deal with this kind of thing. Yah see, when an object is freely propelled through a space devoid of solids, there's nothing to stop it from being knocked back or for it to anchor onto. Unless she's somehow immune to the laws of physics, she shouldn't be able to completely ignore a pointblank explosion without some sort of response.[/u]

[spoiler]I told you, you choose how much it slows her down, that's the effect. The propulsion pack is self stabilizing because realistically, it would not make sense to manufacture something that can send someone flying long distances of they can easily be knocked out of control. Now, shockwaves are not an unstoppable force. If an explosion goes off and the shockwave hits the side of a mountain or something, it will bounce back off. Now, Sapphire isn't immovable, no, but these are small explosives versus a heavy object moving the opposite direction. Someone could easily bat her out of the air with a tree, but these are hitting her head-on and and again, her propulsion pack is stabilized to keep her moving in one direction... If you really can't find a way to continue this then I guess I'll change it, but this isn't something that should really be a huge deal.[/spoiler]

[u]Do you not understand how an explosion works? I'm not saying that you should be hurt, or anything like that shit, I'm simply saying it would have no goddamn effect. Just because a goddamn character has a propulsion pack and is really heavy doesn't mean they're immune to an explosion! Do you not -blam!-ing understand how combat or explosive rounds work? To be honest I've been sick of your shit for a while. Characters that can stop bullets and send them back with ease (which is pretty much the -blam!-ing force, a goddamn ability outlawed by pants), wanting to perma-kill Irina just because she's -blam!-ing evil with no risk towards yourself, shrugging off explosions which would even knock a -blam!-ing JETFIGHTER off course with simple physics, and pretty much making anything you don't like disappear by whining about it until the person either gets sick of hearing it or an admin steps in![/u]

This is something you should figure out because this doesn't just make a difference on how it effects Sapphire, but it determines how it affects my other characters as well. I need to know whether it is a solid projectile or if it is an energy weapon.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Well, if they explode on contact them it shouldn't be a problem for Sapphire. But I needed to know this because both Sketch and Vorim can stop solid projectiles but if someone shoots a laser or some type of energy weapon at them then they can't... It's just an important detail that I need to know...[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Dude, how many of people here have energy attacks? Quite a lot... And Sapphire's armor is resistant to quite a lot. Although solid projectiles do more damage to it assuming they don't explode on contact. She has no ranged weapons to make up for her damage resistance though.[/spoiler]
