Sawyer watched the truck from afar, humored at the prospect, a grunt of amusement escaped his lips. It was a relatively dark time for the Dojo, with slaughter, hostile invaders and people departing over feuds careless and unnecessary. Yet the sky was blue without a stroke of white and the sun beat down on the Dojo. He strode across the grass of the courtyard, vibrantly green and slick with dew from the previous night's perilous rain. Puddles lined the chiseled and cracked pavement, passerby walked about, admiring the day and the brilliant fountain in dedication of Cobalt Phoenix, and the children flocked to the ice cream truck, from which a man joyfully sung.
Sawuer did not have any weapons on him today, and simply wore a solid black t-shirt instead of his combat attire. His muscular physique was still displayed even through the loose clothing, strong and powerful calfs jogging through the green in red shorts. It was unusual for him to be without his weapons or armor, but today felt peaceful, and he had a distinct feeling that the imminent danger had subsided for now. He looked at the kids greedily licking their ice cream which dripped in the heat, staining their clothes, and parents sitting away and watching their kids enjoy.
He smiled and waited for the kids to subside, and eventually they did. A refreshing breeze picked up, brushing against Sawyer and the cherry blossom trees around him, blowing his curled locks of black hair to the side. He stepped up to the truck slathered with bold and bright paints, to the window.
"Strawberry, please," Sawyer stated with impassive tone, still occupied on taking in the beauty of the day.
