The steady drum of the all terrain wheels against the sand marked the approaching figure over the horizon, rushing towards Bjorke...
Damien, was out for a normal ride, dressed in a DMX helmet, and a one piece race suit. It had really dumb sponsors like organic cabbage, sandals, and spinach waffles... Typical...
He was on his custom bike, the Thunder Bolt, the neon blue headlight glaring as he drove across the sand. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing fingerless gloves along his normal, only partially scarred hand, and his other arm which had been covered in dense cloth so as to hide his latest work.
With a twist, he accelerated and drove up a rock, the bike twirling in air as he pulled his legs out and hung for a solid four seconds before the bike turned the right way and he landed... And then he swerved, spotting Bjorke farther along the beachhead, driving up to him. He steered with one hand while pulling his black and white helmet off with the other.
He stopped short in front of the captain, looking him up and down with an amused grin plastered to his strange face. His hair was matted with sweat to his forehead, and his eyes shone brightly... And of course he had his usual mechanical jaw held by two clamps that ran down his somewhat exposed neck.
"Did you just get washed up out of an iceberg?"
He asked, his voice calm and lazy, but layered with calculating cynicism and a sarcastic vibe.
