He paused going to say something as he grew quiet not following. The voice speaking in his head as the creature laughs.
[u]"Oh you axions are all the same..."[/u]
"Shut up....seriously I don't have time for your problems."
[u]"Oh but the only problem I have is you....eating my soul does that.."[/u]
"Yeah well I could care less."

[b][i]He blinked as she could literally watch his legs melt to liquid as he began to disappear. Now all liquid in the ground it darted away from her direction and back to the tree. At arriving at the tree he shook his head looking down. He couldn't tell if he needed to leave or if he was safe it was getting risky for him.[/i][/b]

[b]She headed back to the tree, nervous that she had scared him off.[/b] "-blam!- me and my temper." [b]She muttered, approaching the opening of the tree, sighing heavily.[/b]

[b][i]He sat near the fire quiet as he looked back to her and looked down. His ears and tail drooping, playing with some if the wood as he tosses it into the fire.[/i][/b] "Sorry for the water..."

"It's fine." [b]She sat down next to him, exhaling. She was covered foot to toe in ash, as she leaned backwards.[/b]

[b][i]He looks at her brushing off some of the ash with his hands. Looking back to the fire as he doesn't seem completely sold on that. His body slumping slightly as he did so closing his eyes.[/i][/b] "You don't have to lie to me I know I messed up out there.."

"You were just trying to help." [b]She fell over, body leaning on his. [/b] "My temper... I can't control it. In all honesty, if you hadn't dunked water on me, I would've torched you." [b]She sniffled a bit, wiping her nose with a sleeve.[/b]

[b][i]He saw her sniffle and wraps his arm around her rubbing her side. Leaning his head on hers as he smiles not letting go.[/i][/b] "Hey don't cry it's okay.....besides you can't torch me that easy..." [b][i]He purrs softly in an attempt to cheer her up as he looks at her. His eyes gazing into hers as he does so with a happy look.[/i][/b] "I'm just glad you are safe."

"You almost weren't..." [b]She placed her head on his lap.[/b] "You don't know what I can do. That's only a fraction of what I can do."

[b][i]He rubs her head and plays with her hair looking down at her. Sighing as he does so but not in an upset way.[/i][/b] "I know that...but I also trust you enough to know you won't just torch me alive...everyone makes a mistake or two and you just made one its okay." [b][i]He says smiling down at her as he keeps making sure she's okay.[/i][/b]

"N-No... you don't understand..." [b]She wiped her eyes with her sleeves, trembling in his arms.[/b]

"What don't I understand...?" [b][i]He wipes her tears away with his hand and snuggles close purring happily. His face nuzzling against hers.[/i][/b]

"You don't understand having your whole village die..." [b]She was crying now, head buried into his shoulder.[/b]

"I do though....I got this power because a Lich killed our village....and now I'm stuck this way..." [b][i]He looks at her as he snuggles close not letting go as he looks at her caring. Just snuggling her constantly.[/i][/b]

"But was it your fault?!" [b]She cried, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him.[/b]

"It might has well been for me.." [b][i]He said as he rubs her back keeping her close not letting go. Letting her cry it out as he stays close.[/i][/b]

"But you personally didn't burn them alive..." [b]She muttered, the crying having stopped and reduced to sniffling.[/b]

"No you didn't but I'm not going to let you go. No matter what you do." [b][i]He kisses the top of her head rubbing her back as he thought to himself. Closing his eyes as he snuggles close.[/i][/b] "I won't let you hurt anymore..."

"But I did! I raised my own hands and clamped them around someone's head, and rejoiced in the smell of burning flesh!" [b]She slammed her mechanical fist against the stone floor, staring into his eyes, tears leaking apathetically down her cheeks as she collapsed into him, shoulders shaking once more. [/b] "I don't want to hurt you."

"You won't...I won't let you....but you aren't alone anymore I won't let you be..." [b][i]He snuggles close as he tilts her head up looking into her eyes as he kisses near her lips.[/i][/b] "I got you okay..."

[b]She let him kiss her, the tears evaporating.[/b] "Are y-you sure?" [b]She mumbled through her lips.[/b]

"Let this answer it.." [b][i]He says as he kisses her deeply multiple times. Smiling as he scratches he back of his head blushing. Looking into her eyes as he chuckles.[/i][/b] "That good?"

[b]She slumped, smiling weakly as she slumped into his arms. [/b] "Yea... that's good..."

"Glad to hear it Val..." [b][i]He smiles rubbing her back as he chuckles to himself. His eyes closing as he nuzzles close to her once more.[/i][/b]

[b]She wiped her eyes.[/b] "We should probably head out soon..."

"You sure? We could always just snuggle for a bit too..." [b][i]He smiles as he places his hand on her cheek rubbing gently as he tilts his head happily.[/i][/b]
