The Stubborn, The Cold, and The Comedic Relief Gelidus Desert, 6:43PM A New Set of Characters Enter... Gusting winds drew the blanketing sand across the rolling dunes of the desert; the harsh afternoon sun had long faded into the mellower waves of still brutal heat, and one could only guess what awaited them if they dared to cross such a hostile place. The heat whispered death into those who dared, and the sands as much kissing their boots as it did suck them into their gritty grave. From the Dojo, energy readings spiked from the desert as a space-time portal ripped reality itself as it arrived, carrying it's payload and dumping it quite rudely from fifty metres in the air. Three figures flew from the portal, spiralling downwards with a huge -thunk!-, rooster tails of sand billowing upwards with the impact. Without a trace, the portal, which hinted purple in colour with crackling arms of electricity grasping outwards, disappeared. A loud and quite annoyed grunt resounded throughout the plain landscape, one of the hulking figures standing upright as it dusted itself off. It's metal plating gleamed spectacularly in the dying light of the evening, his head holding two electric blue eyes on either side of what seemed to be a middle receptor. As well as his towering visage, over ten feet at least, an equally as terrifying poleaxe resided on his back as if hoisted up by magnetism. Although his weaponry and looks were quite a scare, a red cloak flaring in his midst, he looked around... lost. When he spoke, his voice was full of bass; the mechanical voice box a little on the harsher side, yet resembling one with experience and time behind his belt and a right to be angry, at that.
???: I knew it! I knew we shouldn't have trusted that fücking bitch of a mechanic. Stupid cünt had no fücking idea what the fück he was doing. "Oh, I'm sure this is the right place." "Don't worry about it, it'll be alright." Might as well fück me in the ass and call me a pony, motherfücker. LOOK! LOOK GODDAMMIT!
The rather enraged figure stood tall, gesturing around to the desert sarcastically.
???: LOOK AT ALL THIS FÜCKING NOTHING! THIS THE RIGHT FÜCKING PLACE, HUH? ???: Calm your Tourette's, old timer. It's a desert all right. Although, I'm certain we're... close. Ish. Kinda. Sorta. I don't know. HEY, SCORPIO! ANY IDEA WHERE THE FÜCK WE ARE SO TAUROS CAN CALM HIS SERVOS?!
The new voice was fresher; crisper, younger, naïve even. It was filled with confidence, as well as defiance, a rebellious yet loyal undertone to it's electronic nature. The bearer of the voice stood as well now, shaking his head, electric blue eyes waving back and forth to dislodge any sand stuck in it. Unlike the towering war mech from before, this almost human-like robot stood around six feet exactly. His matte-like finish on his grey skin made him seem almost like a man in armour, save his robotic voice. Held to his hip magnetically was a glossy black sheath for a katana, the blade nearly straight and humming just below the normal range of hearing; it seemed thin for a blade, but in contrast to the other mechs poleaxe, anything would. A dusty and quite worn black cloak hung from his shoulders, clinging to him in the mercilessly blowing winds that sent sand bouncing off of their metallic bodies. As if on cue, the third figure rose, dusting himself off methodically and with great care. It even took a moment to marvel at it's own fingers, as if fascinated by such... by such a THING, and continued to rise up to both feet. The nearly all black attire of the robot was apparent, leaving little metal to the elements; unlike the other, though, it's human-like appearance was given away by it's abstract head and transmitter poking from it's shoulder, the same electric blue eyes glowing from the base of the cylinders coming from it's head. It seemed to be fully armed and well defended; seemingly standard military grade armour plating, all different types of grenades and tossables adorning a bandolier, and a rather large and high tech rifle stuck to it's back. Not to forget, a Remington R1 Enhanced on his thigh, the satin black finish matching his gear. Looking over to where the robots had converged, he awkwardly stepped over to them, nearly tripping several times. His voice, however, was cold; near monotone, yet smooth at the same time.
Scorpio: Yes. We are near. Treat your elders with respect, Gemini. He knows more than us both. Gemini: Yeah, says the one trying out his new body for the first time. This one's just like my old one, anyways. Just a lot nicer. Wouldn't you say so, Grandpa? Tauros: Fücking idiot, c'mon, lets get a move on. Meatbag Magician is probably around somewhere. Gemini: Aye aye, captain. I can't hear youuuuuuu. AYE AYE, CAPTAIN. OHHHHHHHHHHH- Tauros: Scorpio, do something before I shove that fancy sword of his up his pelvic region. Scorpio: Affirmative.
Scorpio, still awkwardly walking towards Gemini, tripped and landed face first in the sand, his hand brushing Gemini's leg. The robot jumped back, hands up in defense dramatically, head turned away in horror.
Gemini: Dude, no robo. Harambe would not be pl- Tauros: IF YOU SPENT LESS FÜCKING TIME ON THE INTERNET, YOU MIGHT BE USEFUL FOR MORE THAN JUST DRIVING ME FÜCKING NUTS!!! Scorpio: Affirmative. Gemini: *mumbles quietly* Deez nuts... heheheh.
Tauros silently picked the robot up, hurtling him football fields away into the distance. Just a speck in the sky, the swordsman was out of sight quickly, the only evidence of his impact a large cloud of sand. Scorpio got up, repeating the same process of dusting himself off as if he rehearsed it as such, quietly watching the now distant projectile that was Gemini. Without waiting, the two headed off in the direction of the Dojo. Plumes of sand jetted upwards as Gemini ran at speeds invisible to the human eye, catching up to them in seconds. He just laughed, though, Tauros grumbling and Scorpio walking silently beside them. They had gotten new bodies from unknown sources, came from unknown origins... any who knew Tauros in his time wouldn't have recognized him now, either. Yet, over their time away, their bond was stronger than ever. It took them the rest of the night, and many rounds of Gemini-induced "I Spy" games, of climbing mountain and forest, dune and terrain, and finally cresting the peak that gave them a view of the Dojo, merely a kilometre away. Gemini's hands were behind his neck, reclining on them as if he were in no rush, Tauros's heavy footsteps shaking the earth, and Scorpio walking silently in his wake. The trio were an odd sight; a juggernaut, a ninja, and a rifleman. They all bore the resemblance of electric blue eyes, and two of the three wore cloaks. Just like another someone in the Dojo already... Their step steady and strong, the mechs came into view of the Dojo shortly, attracting many stares as they came to the front gate. Arriving soon, they wondered about how this adventure would play out; hopefully, Tauros thought, nothing like the last. Scorpio would remember too, the middle "child". But Gemini, young and stupid, hadn't a clue. Tauros sighed, the grinding simulation echoing through the air. It was for the better, anyways.
Opennnnn
