Xavier usually responded to someone that was distressed and sad, because that's how he usually does. He wore a blue jacket and cargo pants, and glasses. He was also wearing some armour over his clothing, to at least provide himself some protection. He walked up to Violet, to see what was wrong.
"Everything okay, miss?"

Violet glanced up at the armor and instantly looked back down. "Oh yay, another soldier."
-
Xavier shrugged. He wasn't a soldier, just a ordinary guy from another place. "I know you're not in the mood to be nice, but I need you to tell me what's wrong."
-
Violet sighs. "Why can't anyone just leave when I ask? I'm just trying to enjoy this book, nothing is wrong."
-
"You know, everyone can hear your crying."
-
She opens her mouth to speak, but nothing comes out for a few seconds. "I-I'm not crying."
-
Xavier sighed. She really wasn't hiding it well. "Oh please, don't deny it..."
-
Her cheeks turned red as she shoved the book onto her face. When she speaks only muffled noises are heard.
-
He silently chuckled, then placed a hand on her book. "I'm just trying to make you feel better, okay?"
-
She took her face away from the book and spoke in a defeated voice. "You can stay, but we're not talking about any problem I may or may not be having."
-
"Alright." He glanced at the book's cover, pulling a another chair to him and sitting down on it. "So, whatcha reading?"
-
The title read "Dojoville's History". "Just some local history so I know more about where I'm staying."
-
"Oh, I see. But, uhhhh..." He looked at the pages, which were probably stained with tears. "...you may have damaged the book a bit."
-
Violet's face turns extremely red as she slams her face into the book again. "I have no idea what you're talking about!"
-
"Like I said, please don't hide it. I can fix it for you."
-
Violet keeps her face stuff in the book. "There's nothing to fix!"
-
"Trust me. Just get your face off the book and I can fix it for you."
-
She places the book down and crosses her arms. "There's nothing to fix!"
-
Without saying anything, he placed his hand on the book and started to do... Something. The book got a bit distorted, and his glasses started cracking. When he was done, he moved his hand away from the book, completely reversed of all damage.
-
Violet's eyes went wide as she looked him in the eye. "Can you teach me that!"
-
"I could, but it requires me to be in physical contact with you. And not in 'that' way, you know. And probably a bit of your soul breaking. You sure you wanna do that?" He took off his glasses, rubbing the crack.
-
Violet chuckled. "No, I'd rather not."
-
He placed the glasses back on, the crack still there. He didn't take notice of it. "What's your name?"
-
Violet adjusted her glasses. "I am Violet Rosegold. Daughter of Michael and Stacy Rosegold."
-
"Violet Rosegold, huh? That's a nice name. My name is Xavier Carter. Nice to meet you."
You didn't specify that she had glasses...
-
Yeah. My descriptions need work.
Violet genuinely smiles at Carter. "Nice to meet you, Xavier."
