[i]She puts on the glasses and looks around.[/i] "What is it?"

[i]She could see... Small 'rifts' at certain places. Whatever they were, she had to ask Xavier.[/i]

[i]She decided to go along with this thing of yours.[/i] "What are these...rifts?"

"Well, they're small glitches I can cause in reality. For example, if I shot down a crate hanging from a string, I can reverse it to where I didn't shoot it down."

[i]She nods.[/i] "Cool, so why are you making it so I can see them?"

"Watch this." [i]He went over to a rift in a open space, where he pulled out his grenade launcher and fired somewhere close to it.[/i]

[i]She chuckles.[/i] "That is pretty cool."

[i]Then the explosion was 'replayed' back and forth, just staying in place like that.[/i]

[i]Violet looks at the display with slight excitement.[/i] "That's awesome!...Now, will you give back the book?"

"Nope." [i]He starts running.[/i]

[i]She chases after him.[/i] "Give me the book back! Why do you care about what I read?"

[u]15 minutes later[/u] [i]Xavier and Violet have been running around for quite some time now. He also managed to get the book away and placed back on the library. They were both pretty tuckered out.[/i]

[i]She stopped trying to speak between breaths.[/i] "You....mother.....f*cker...."

"Screw..... You.... Too......" [i]He was leaning against the wall, also trying to catch his breath.[/i]

[i]She continued to pant because of how unfit she is.[/i] "Why...didn't....you just....give me....the book?"

"Hell..... No....... God...... Dammit......" [i]He coughed.[/i]

"But....it.....was.....my......favorite." [i]Her eyes widened upon saying this and her face turned red.[/i] "I mean, umm...."

"Oh, come on... Just admit that... You like that crap..." [i]He gestured to the seats in the library.[/i] "How about we just take a seat, catch our breath?"

[i]She collapsed onto a seat.[/i] "You kidding? If my sisters found out I'd be dead!"

"It's okay, just keep your secret. For now, we'll just read those." [i]He brung out the books from before. The book about shadow abilities, and support buffs. But NOT 'that' book.[/i]

[i]Violet seemed dissapointed.[/i] "I'm eighteen you know, I have the right to read what I want."

"So? You better find a book of your own then. I have some practicing and some trial and error to do." [i]He held out his hand, which was currently enveloped in shadow.[/i]
