"You sure you wanna trek in that direction?" Clayton asked with a brow raised.
"We uhhh...never been 'ere, 'cause we heard from some friends about well- it ain't the friendliest town," the old cowboy said putting his coat on while putting on his Stetson hat over his graying dirty blonde swept hair- he had looked in his early 50's now after the longest time: a ninjato strapped to his back with a strange blunderbuss like weapon strapped onto his back while entering the hangar.
"He is able to fend for himself," Aurora said with a smile looking to the tall figure. The Valkyrie approached and handed him two cylindrical like handles, much to his surprise.
"You're ready," The Valkyrie said to him as she stood alongside Clayton, who had his arms crossed after wishing him good luck.
"Tell Nova and err...Callum I send my regards," the man said before putting on his helmet and approaching his docked ship.
Present Day
As the Sky dilated, a strange unidentified flying object exited gliding across the sky. It seemed to have a strange design but was compact and small- a spaceship of some sorts designed from a composite like plastic that looked to be of material made from space shuttles. The metallic grey ship flew over the skyline until settling down in a cleared and region in the forest.
The front of the ship retracted at an upward angle while the hatch from behind, opened unveiling a figure clad in weathered grey metallic armor. The design of the figures armor was nothing ever seen before, while the man stepped out. Shaking his dazed helmet clad head while he stretched out and looked at the scrapes of his shape while looking above at the mountains to his left and the dense region and wilderness surrounding him.
"Definitely not Geos...." he said to himself looking up and noticing a singular moon while inputting it in his data pad.
He turned to his small shuttle of a ship and gave it a pat before wandering about heading towards the mountain in signs of some form of civilization having no idea where he was, but the idea of being an outlander never bothered him as he himself was used to his nomadic like lifestyle especially growing up. He examined trees and the natural habitat taking note of the similarities and jotting down more notes. As he looked to the skyline, the moon shone over the region while the bright lunar rays reflected from his armor.
The mountain was just about a mile away from his location, while he proceeded on foot and continued to move east taking occasional glances every now and then, keeping his guard up for any ambushes as the road ahead of him felt like something in a cliché movie.

The 5'10 creature stands there watching he man look around. His right eye a crimson red his left sky blue as he approaches. A cat like humanoid with jet black fur and coco brown spots moving forward. On his back a great sword and two his sides two more short swords. However he seemed to be in more normal clothing, a t-shirt and shorts as he paused looking at the man. "You lost or something?" He said tilting his head trying to see what he was looking for as he rolled his eyes only seeing mountains.
-
Grythex jumped back and assumed a stance out of defense and fear but relaxed. "I uhhh...yes, where exactly am I?" He said in curiousity while the moon reflected off his armor acting as a giant reflective light source to anything around him. He took notice of the cat like creature and was surprised at first, having never before seen such a thing- not to mention it was bipedal.
-
"Hell if I know I've been here....two weeks tops....all I know is there's a forest, mountains and a dojo....literally called dojoville which is a little ironic..." He pauses raising an eyebrow at the defensive stance. Shrugging as his hands now hover over his blades more of a warning than anything. "Why do you need to get to a specific place or something?"
-
"They named a city after the ancient Orokun word for school...?" He silently said to himself. "Look I won't try to kill you if you don't try to kill me....deal?" The Outlander said to the mysterious figure. "Where's this...dojoville?"
-
His gazes over the man as he sighs still unsure. Pointing down over the cliff and a very long distance away is a city with gates cities and more. Crossing his arms as he closes his eyes reopening them. His red eyes pupil is now separated into a rune shape. "It's over there it's a bit of a trek but it's not too bad." A jet of flame launched out of his hand in the direction of the dojo disappearing after a while. Shrugging at the man as he waited. "That's your best way to go my friend."
-
Grythex noticed the flame emulated from his palm then looked to the dissipation blast. "You have...abilities?!" He said surprised. "I'm guessing the townsfolk...aren't the friendliest?" He asked.
-
"Nah actually they are super friendly and take in pretty much anyone." He shrugs as he looks around his eyes gazing around the area as his ears perk up for a second. Sighing when they lower as if he was looking for something. "Why do you ask? And for abilities I have.....a few to say the least..." His eyes gaze over the man as if curious what he meant by that. Although it didn't really matter to him in the slightest.

Edited by DesertX963: 10/15/2016 4:21:30 AM"This place....it's got that strange, what'd he used to call them.....vibe," he said tilting his head before walking towards the direction of Dojoville. "So how did you exactly find your way here, you don't exactly fit the....native species here, unless this place has, well more than Homosapiens- I doubt the human race has evolved to homosuperior."
-
"Well there are lots of species here but you are right I am not from here....uh.." He pauses trying to think of what to say without freaking him out. Tapping his foot as he pauses shrugging. "I guess I'm what you would call a grim reaper? I kinda guide lost spirits and souls to the next realm? And some help me fight blah blah." He says as he makes a motion with his hand rolling his eyes. Looking back at he town as he smiles. "I came through a portal was chasing a ice Titan came here beat him and now I'm here."

Edited by DesertX963: 10/15/2016 4:55:28 AM"Trans-dimensional warp....you're from an alternate reality. We're in an alternate reality," he said amazed. He pulled out a strange triangular disc like object- a holographic data-pad, jotting notes down and writing. "No wonder why he didn't want any of us coming here...this is remarkable!" Grythex said to himself looking down at an angle while smiling underneath his helmet. He cocked his head after the figure announced his job title to the man. "Keeper of souls you say? I knew of a woman...one of the bravest, she served as a Valkyrie, brought the dead honorable warriors to their final resting place," he said.
-
"That's pretty close to what we do...we also hunt Lich, demons, beasts, undead spirits, you know the fun ones. We then take their souls and pass it on to a peaceful slumber or......they agree to help us and they give us their powers, strength, etc for a later use." He says as he places his hands behind his head looking over at the mans device. Raising an eyebrow as if curious as to what he is doing pausing only for a moment. "So what's that.....and how did you get here by chance?" He was curious now about this man, he obviously didn't come from a primitive time or age. So he was curious what else he as capable of.
-
Grythex finished writing and turned to the man as he deactivated the data pad. "I'm from Geos, though many would know it in the past as: Earth," he said as he projected the orbit of What looked to be earth only with different continents as a result of tectonic shifts. But the main focus of attention was the moon- or what was left of it anyway, as Geos had a ring orbiting around it similar to Saturns, remains of Luna. "You would imagine the surprise on my face when I looked up and saw that," he said pointing to the full moon of this world. "My ship arrived through a singularity, I was....selected though they wanted no one to come here and step foot in these lands as they were warned to not settle foot within this world- I am the first, and hopefully not the last of volunteers."
-
"Hello there!" Card greeted through his cigar, tipping the ashes off the end mechanically. "What brings you to this place?" He asked jovially, sauntering over to the stranger.
-
Grythex turned to the cowboy like man smiling underneath his helmet as it wouldn't mark the first time seeing someone of the archetype. "Hello....may I ask, where exactly....I am?" He said looking around.
-
"Hell if I know... Donoville... Danoville... somethin' like that." He stroked his chin, thinking before finally giving up with a good natured shrug. "Th name's not important. All you need to know is that the beer here is awful and if you want a fight this is your place."
-
Ahhh, of course he thought to himself. "Well...I can assure you I'm no foe. My name is Grythex, Blademaster of House IX- and as you can tell I'm not from around here," he said as the moon shone brightly on his armor. He pointed to the mountain, where he believed there to be a river current of sorts leading downhill. "Is there a nearby town there? Civilization?" He presumed.
-
"I would guess. In truth, I got lost looking for some kind of liquor store. You wouldn't believe wha they call alcohol back there." He removed his hat, scratching his head before replacing it, adjusting it with practiced movement. "Although, I do recall that I followed that river, so I reckon that's where we should start."
-
"Huh...at least they have booze," he said in a somewhat pleasant tone. He paced towards the river where the cowboy had pointed and followed the man. His armor reflected from the moon allowed him to act as a sort of light source and shine anything within a 10 foot radius in clear view. "It doesn't look like you're not from around here, how did you manage to find this region?"
-
"I dunno. Hadn't really thought about it." He scratched his head, thinking. "It's almost as if I never existed beforehand, and someone created me and decided to place me around here. Which is weird." He kept walking, now deep into philosophical thought.
