Marcia swung downwards this time, her blade and Xavier's crossing once again. Marcia skidded back, although she recovered immediately.

He stepped back, and put himself on a defensive position again. He held his blade downwards, protecting his left side.
-
The mage only began sprinting towards Xavier once more, raising the sword over her head and slamming down upon his shoulder. This left her open, either for a kick, punch, or even a stab.
-
She manages to cut his shoulder a bit, before he could defend against it. He slashed at her leg while she slashed at his shoulder.
-
The slash ripped through Marcia's flesh, and she yelled out slightly as the blade tore through flesh and muscle. Marcia then aimed a kick towards Xavier's crotch or...manhood, whatever the hell you want to call it, in an attempt to "stun" him.
-
He stumbled back, curled up a bit but not clutching under the belt. Instead, holding his shoulder where he got slashed, which actually got cut a lot. "I admit... You got me pretty good there."
-
"It was a dirty move.." Marcia sighed as she drove her own claymore into the ground, the blade sinking within the dirt almost instantly as she leaned upon it as if tired. "So, uh.."
-
He sheathed his blade back on his back. "Yes? What is it?"
-
"..Nothing. Would you like to continue? I-I mean, if you don't want to, it's fine." Marcia awkwardly chuckled, mostly because she was in clear pain. The gash had gone..rather deep within her leg.
-
"No, it's fine. Hold up." He took some of Marcia's life force from when Xavier took it from her, then started the slow but efficient healing process on her leg and his own arm. "You know, things took quite a turn. You went from hating me to... I dunno, actually liking me. It also shifted my original plan for you."
-
"I guess? The "hey beautiful" thing was actually...sorta cute. Like. In a funny way. I guess.." Marcia stuttered slightly when she spoke, mostly because she found that to be funny but awkward at the same time. Unless it was a joke..was it a joke? Marcia didn't understand.
-
"Well, I do tend to say things like that from time to time. So... I kinda meant that on purpose, but at the same time, maybe something to laugh at..."
-
"...You meant that?" Marcia only snickered, shaking her head as she kept leaning against the metallic weapon. Yes, this was the first time that she had been called "beautiful".
-
"You know, I could have called you 'pretty lady' for all I care." He chuckled.
-
"I know, I know. And I could've called you handsome...handsome." Immediately, Marcia snickered awkwardly before falling silent. She didn't know whether that could be considered a flirt or a joke, really.
-
He just shrugged before looking down at her wound. He lifted his hand off it, the cut still apparent with blood and the slightly torn pants, but all in all completely healed. Xavier's shoulder though, is still bleeding a bit, due to the healing process not completing fully and running out of healing substance. "Ah, damn... I ran out..."
-
Noticing that Xavier's wound had not entirely healed, but her wound had, Marcia sighed a little as she stared into the still cut flesh: the flesh that she had cut. "...I could try stitching it up. I've done surgery before. Not too good, but..yeah." Marcia could be considered a surgeon for basic wounds. Anything around the vitals..nope.
-
"You sure?" At this point, why not. Might as well let her fix him up a bit.
-
"...Y-Yeah. I could go find some..medical things. Oh, I should've learned about healing magic back at John West.." Marcia rose up after a moment, proceeding to leave to find some medical supplies. Ten minutes later..she came back with a First Aid kit, with stitches, bandages, and painkillers.
-
"Alright... You know the basics, right?" He stopped clutching his shoulder, leaving Marcia to fix him up.
-
"Yeah...Yeah." Several minutes later, and the wound had been patched up. It could've been done better, but..it was still alright.
-
"Thanks for the patch-up." At least it'll still heal. He tapped the bandages on his shoulder.
-
"That's good, I think. I hope. I could've done better..ugh." One thing that was actually good about Marcia's personality? She always, and I mean always, strived to do better than before in practically everything.
-
"It's okay. At least you did fix the injury." Then a apparent question came to mind. "Wait... You don't have a place to live, don't you?"
-
"...I-Um.." Marcia's face turned a dreadful pale as she only sighed, nodding in response. It wasn't like the others would let her live with them (Jacqui might...).
-
"Well, you could always ask your sisters. They can come up with something."
