Nothing but silence, filling the caverns rocky walls and the occasional spikes of stone that presented itself from the ground like sharpened teeth just waiting to clamp down and sink into the teeth of some sort of prey, that was all the inner depths of the tunnel that was Axel's cave provided. Until, an eerie shrieking came from just a ways ahead, like a bird screaming in pain or desperation of escaping its predator in a hunting match.
