The sound came from... Well it wasn't human, but it sure as all hell wasn't an animal. The brown feathers that coated the distant figures body was cloaked by a flurry of snow that just flew past although the beak it had definitely made him seem different to most. He had backwards kneecaps as if inverted legs on a human were at all a normal thing, and his arms looked to be full fledged wings, which hr flapped as the air and wind gusts took him to the skies for him to continue shrieking.

[b][i]He paused seeing the creature as he put his blade away. At least it wasn't seeming to be an enemy. Watching it as the storm went around him he paused thinking to himself if he should go back to the cave. He was curious though as he looked up at the bird watching it move with the gusts. Seeing if it went to anywhere particular. Maybe there was better shelter then even he knew.[/i][/b]

The bird shrieked and allowed shrill screams to go into the night until eventually it shut up, and midair it stopped shouting to shift its gaze to Axel. And with that, the bird flew at him with great speed.

He had met many different races and species on his home world. This could just be a person not a monster and he didn't want to kill an innocent being.[/i][/b]
