“Sakki?” Sakki said, confused.
“”Yeah, you're name. You can go around without a name forever,” Sauniks replied. “Hm… wait who's this?”
“Who's what?” Sakki said, trying to read the textbook in front of him. There was a list of names with numbers after them. There was also an indicator showing how far away they were.
“This. I've never heard of this NPC. Most of the available mentors are people that have stayed around this area. But I've never seen this guy, not once,” Sauniks said, tapping his name. His name appeared at the top of the screen, followed by a number similar to Sakki’s 2222. His distance was also labeled.
“Sheet, #313, 254m away…” Sakki read.
“And he's getting closer. 313… that means he's a Gen one. Probably arrived around March, two years ago.”
“So, is there any problems with him being my mentor?” Sakki asked.
“I suppose not. Gen one NPCs are the most experienced, so it's probably a good thing. Also, the only Gen ones left are the best of the best.” Sauniks replied, closing the window.
“Why's that?” Sakki asked.
“So many questions with you. The Gen one players came into this with almost no one to guide them. A lot of them died, and the rest learned from their experience.” Sauniks stood up and walked towards the stairs. “He should be here around now. I've never met a Gen one, and I want to.” He went downstairs, and Sakki followed.
