Through the path, down to the castle the trees are older looking and seem to be dying.
There's a single robotic figure standing around the now empty courtyard of the Dight. [/b]

[spoiler]Going hollow does not require him to consume the first flame.. Or attempt to. He is going hollow because of pain. Much like how Anri was going to go hollow during Ornstein's quest but Kross saved her (Before the new Backstory for Ornstein Characters)[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Where Yuria forces Anri to take the flame. That's the new Backstory. Before, Kross saved Anri from going hollow and that whole flame consumption was gonna be in his quest. But he canceled the quest cause he left [/spoiler]

[spoiler]Okay... But the problem is that Sketch thinks Royal somehow attempted to consume the first flame as well. He has as good an understanding of this stuff as I do, except he can only learn from other characters. He's going to need Roy to tell him what actually happened.[/spoiler]
