Honestly I think it would be easier just to run the raid up till that point. usually takes less than 40 mins till that point, and you'll miss out on gear drops

The point I'm trying to make is why does Bungie allow this? It's against the user/terms yet they tolerate it?

Bungie have always left in glitches, and have stated that they will never ban anyone for it. Its their fault, and if they fix it, then they'll fix it.
