The man opens the door to the carriage letting them inside. In a short time they begin to move. A window on the front opens.

"Yeah, old man Tekko recently passed. His son recently told me about that"
[u]"aye the old Lord has passed. We're celebrating pretty soon. Even a week ago he was personally training the young. Can't wait to see the challengers. I hear Tekko's son spent the entire week training non-stop![/u]
"Heh I keep forgetting you guys look at this as a celebration. Probably should give you a heads up Val for a bunch or warriors they like to party a lot."

An apple appears within her hand "As for the nanoeds they are pretty useful since they can form into most weaponry. Learned a few tricks from these guys when I visited. they are amazing with a sword"

"Yup, I'd hate to admit it but the lab that made me definitely did a good job creating me. I do have to wear a restriction to keep from unintentionally causing plants to exponentially grow around me. Luckily I made this smaller one to wear for formal events though I probably overdressed for this."

"Lived with it so I guess it's pretty normal to me. Anyways any kind of weaponry of your own? Unique abilities?"

"I-I would rather not, if you don't mind." [b]She replied cooly, crossing her legs and tilting her head back.[/b] "I am an Axion Sect though. Basically we're cat humans, except that I'm a halfling and look more like a human. I was placed in a Zaveris monastery, which is basically our version of combat... although I'm not sure assassination is all that honorable."

"Ah. It's fine. Did a lot of wandering though I guess I havent came across that monastery. Did see a few cat like people though." [u]"Sorry to interrupt but uh... there are a lot of dead bodies on the road. I'd probably suggest keeping an eye out"[/u] Outside the window bodies seem to be sprawled all throughout the road some seeming horrifically mutilated. For a glimpse a shadow darts in and out of sight never straying too far from the carriage.

"Well shit. Anyways, you're not going to find that monastery; it burned down some time ago." [b]She eyed the figure suspiciously, eyes flitting watchfully from the bodies to it.[/b]

"Really? Fireing on funeral goers?" She walks out of the carriage. The nanoeds construct a shield on her arm. A bullet hits the shield bouncing off to the side. A quick flash from the scope and another shot and the figure vanishes again.

[b]Val followed suit, dodge rolling from the carriage underneath a rifle shot. She pulled a small knife from her belt and threw it at a retreating figure, it connecting with a dull thud into it's neck. She pulled another knife out, backing towards Ama.[/b] "Why are they attacking us?"

"Freaking raiders. Keep scarring them off but the idiots won't take the hint." A small chunk of the shield comes off forming a blade which fires off followed by screaming. "At least they haven't figured out you can't shoot through a wall of nanoeds."

"Hey Kabuto how you holding up." A man rushes Kabuto with a knife only to have it cut to the handle by a sword while Kabuto kicks him to the side. [u]"I have the might of the First on my side! I am better than fine"[/u] "Yeah sure, just don't go getting yourself killed"
