Regarding the Trespasser:

So the other day, Xur sold the Trespasser. What ensued was probably the most terrifying few days of PvP I've ever played, as literally every weapon that killed me was either a Trespasser or shotgun of some sort. As a result, you might think I want Trespasser nerfed, or something similar, but in all honesty, I want the opposite. Now don't get me wrong, I hate seeing nothing but Trespassers in PvP, but as a Sidearm user (at least on my titan), I do give in and use it myself from time to time. The problem I have isn't the way the gun functions in PvP (it is definitely able to be countered), but the way it functions in relation to the enhanced radar perk present with certain subclasses (and now artifacts). As it stands, Trespasser gives enhanced radar resolution on kills, which is nice and all, but if you're one of the many players that uses a perk or artifact that gives you enhanced radar already, the effect is completely wasted. This is a shame, especially since the gun is an exotic, which can bypass the way normal perks function. My proposal is this: change the "enhanced radar on kills" to a secondary version of third eye, and/or work in the perk from the old Crota's End gun that marked targets for a few seconds after receiving damage. The gun would essentially be left the same, but it would seem more like an exotic, and less like a secondary pulse rifle. It would also help make the gun useful in PvE (especially in raids) whereas the current Trespasser is more of a bullet hose for countering shotgun runners point-blank in the crucible. Anyway, that's my two cents. Guardians, let me know what you think, as I'm interested to hear your opinions. TLDNR: - Trespasser is great, but one of the perks is pretty much useless - Third Eye or a unique target tracking perk would be more useful, while not changing the way the gun functions as far as handling and time to kill is concerned.

If the weapon is already great, I don't think making it greater will go over well with the playerbase. Making underwhelming weapons greater is what will really help the game right now.
