Ry heard a familiar gait approach, the [i]whirr.......click.....whirr......click[/i] of alpha's gait coming closer and closer, until he stood not to far away, wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans only, lacking shoes or gloves or his cloak like his normal attire
but, there were several things off about him, first and foremost his eyes
they were pitch black, and they each had a white slit in the middle which glowed with a luminescence you had not encountered before, and his horns, which had aquired a more glossy look and had lengthened to about a foot long each
he spoke after a while

[b]This scared Ry, causing her to spill a little of her drink. It burned a hole in the floor. Ry froze up, terrified.[/b]

"I'm not gonna touch you, I'm sorry for last time please stop being frightened of me" he looked at the drink though with a little trepidation, and Ry also noticed that the fur on his face and arms and paws that was visible had faint yet noticeable swirling black patterns in it but you didn't know the circumstances surrounding him suddenly looking so........ odd all of a sudden

"I-I can't... It's a n-natural fear." [b]Ry's hands shook violently, and a drop of the liquid landed on Alpha's foot. And it burnt. In fact, it was molten metal.[/b]

It burnt, and singed his fur...... but he shook it off, and the metal did little damage before he looked lke this something like that would've been very painful, but it only caused a minor burn now he stepped back and sighed "That fear isn't natural, It's a habit, why don't you try making yourself smile? you know what they say, it takes thirty days to set a habit, so why don't replace that bad one of fearing everything?" he spoke quietly and gently

"I've tri-tried! I've only m-met one person here th-that's treated me l-like a regular per-person! We sat down and t-talked! It was n-nice!"

"Do I treat you like an outcast? be honest, I'm sorry if I have....." he sighed "And that's good you've met someone you're friends with, why don't you stick around with them? life ain't worth living in fear and waiting for the end I know, because I've been there and done that"

"I've b-been looking f-for him all day. C-Can't find him, or else I-I'd be hanging out w-with him."

"Could I help? I know you don't particularly care for my company, but I can at least help"

"Yikes, heh I know I'm underage but monster or human that stuff would kill me" he laughed a little "You're probably made of sterner stuff than I am"

"Y-Yeah. Probably." [b]It seemed like she didn't want to talk about it. Not with him, anyway.[/b]

"So where are you from?" he asked quietly

he looked ashen and guilty again, and he sat down against the wall, sighing "Good -blam!-ing job Alex, you did it again......" he mumbled to himself, since he reasoned you couldn't hear him

[b]She heard, but she couldn't stop crying to respond.[/b]

He sighed and looked away, the sight making him want to cry as well, but he didn't want to since he thought there may be others watching

He started to talk again "I'm from another planet, Selenia, ever hear of it?" he was trying to get her mind off of her own and away from whatever pain she left there

[b]In between sobs, she gets out the word.[/b] "No..."

"I didn't think you would, since it's a backwater planet and all.......... Actually.....i don't.....I shouldn't...." he looked down, and pulled his legs up, putting his head down between his knees, depressed
