What the Hell is This Place?!
2:00PM
Jasper McHugh dropped onto the roads of the town, a small 'oof' escaping him as he did so. He stood up as he brushed himself off, eyeing his surroundings.
"This doesn't look like Colorado..."
He eyed the town suspiciously, eyeing a sign that read Dojoville.
"Dojoville? Kind of an odd name, but whatever."
His eyes widened as he took in the people; people with guns, swords, witches, cyborgs, and robots all colliding into his brain.
"Holy shit!" He said in amazement, pinching himself a couple of times to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Finally realizing he was very much conscious, his mouth opened in a silent O and he dropped to the ground, having fainted in shock.

Jäger notices the man passed out on the ground. He walks over to see if he is OK. Uhh. Yo, you alive? He checks for a pulse. Well, you're alive, that's good. Jäger stands by to see if the man will wake up.

*Quincy, in his less recognized form of a normal arctic fox, pads over and sits on his chest*

A young woman walks up to him putting a mirror up to his face. She notices the man is still breathing and nudges him with her foot. "Hey, I'm pretty sure the ground is very comfy but how about finding somewhere less likely to get stepped on to pass out"
-
"AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" He shot up, stumbling backwards, breathing hard. He seemed panicked. "Who are you? What is this place? And do these people even have carry permits for all of these guns?!?" He paused, before whispering in a hushed voice, eyes wide. "Is murder legal?!?!?"
-
"Your... not from around here are you?" She says looking him over and noticing the lack of gear compared to most of the people she comes across. "Anyways this place is a bit of an oddity. Seems to attract a lot of different kinds of people. Swordsmen, soldiers, paranormal entities, I think I've seen at least a few of each."
-
"A bit of an oddity? A bit?!?" He looked around in disbelief. "Where I'm from, this stuff doesn't even exist!" He slumped to the ground, mumbling something about him missing Colorado.
-
"Alright calm down. I don't need you going and having a panic attack" She looks around trying to think of a distraction and notices a local coffee shop. "Like coffee? Tea?"
-
"T-thank god... something I recognize... yes, coffee sounds great, actually." He replied hesitantly, still on edge, but standing a bit straighter.
-
"Alright" She then guides the man over to the shop and heads up the the counter "Hey, I'll have a medium regular coffee" The man behind the counter seems somewhat surprised. "Wait not tea this time?" "Nah its for this guy. Speaking of which I never got your name"
-
"I-It's Jasper. And thanks." He gave a weak smile.
-
"Ah, ok. I'm Ama by the way" The cashier hands her the coffee which she hands over to Jasper. "So where did you come from by the way?"
-
He sips the coffee, relishing in its familiar taste. "The United States of America. I live in Colorado; it's pretty cold there. But there's none of this," He waved a hand, gesturing to the various weapons and armor people had. "As a matter of fact, carrying a weapon in public can get your arrested or killed where I live."

Yes as you saw weaponry is pretty freely worn around here though don't worry. There are guards around here and most people here stick to sparring and practice with their gear along with helping out if the place ever needs backup for whatever reason." She pulls out a tablet and seems to be searching up a few things. She then mumbles something along the lines of "So that's the United states?" And diverts her attention back to her guest. "Sorry got a little distracted. Anyways I live in a lab of mine not too far out from here. They are willing to give free housing to guests but if you need some time to process I do have a couch and a few spare sheets if you just want to crash at my place. Just uh... please don't touch the lab equipment. Some of it is pretty sensitive"
-
"I gladly accept." He seemed relieved, and was now significantly more at ease. He smiled at her warmly. "I'm glad I have a friend around here."

-
"There are gods?!?" His eyes widened as he drained the last of his coffee. He let out a sigh. "I'm never not going to be surprised by this place."
-
The armored individual approached, looking down and scanning the individual on the ground before him. Looking the man over, he nudged the man over onto his back with a boot, before drawing his handgun. Reaching with his cybernetic hand, he seemed to be.... Trying to steal your wallet?
-
He gasped, quickly rolling over. "HOLY SHIT! BRO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT GUN?" He crawled away backwards, sweating, eyeing the man's armor and hand with shock. "DO YOU EVEN HAVE A CARRY PERMIT?" He shouted, scared.
-
We don't talk about that. he said rather offhandedly. He spun the pistol and slid it back into its holster, crossing his arms afterwards. I mean, do I look like I'm worried about people stopping me over a piece of paper that says I can carry? he asked, staring at the man.
-
"W-W-What the hell even is this place? Did I step into Comic Con by accident?!?" He stood, seeming confused and nervous. "And why would you pull a gun on me in the first place?!? And don't you need to have a permit?!?"
-
Alright. One; I have no idea where I am. First I was thinking Japan but then with all this stuff, nah, can't be the Japs. Two; no, this isn't a comic convention, it's real. he slid his shotgun from his hip, pumped it, and fired a round skyward, the sound quite loud up close. And three; permit or not, I'm carrying guns. he replied. Clearly he seemed less than concerned about this place.
-
"B-b-but like there!" He pointed to a lady with horns covering most of her body. "There's no way that can be real... right?" He collapsed into a bench, pressing a hand to his head and rubbing the bridge of his nose.
-
He glanced at her, still holding the shotgun with its barrel pointed skyward. Looks real to me. Weird, unnatural, but physically present. he said with a shrug.
-
"What the hell is this place?" He said with a mix of confusion and wonder. He seems to have just now noticed the shotgun. "Why the hell do you have so many guns?!?"
-
Like I said, I have no idea where we are. Oh this? he said, looking to the shotgun. I like to be prepared for everything. Pistols for pistol stuff, shotguns for blowing doors and brains out, and a rifle for pretty much everything else.
