Pleased To Meet You
The mercenary sat humming a tune outside on the restaurant patio. A plate sat before him, now devoid of food, and his feet were up on the table. Reclining in his seat, he looked out over the Dojo, watching the many goings-on of this foreign place. All of these people were quite interesting, as was the place itself.
After a bit of walking around, he finally found a nice place to kick back and get some food. He'd ordered a burger, fries, and a beer, and finished it all quickly. With his mask off
please refer to the image above
, he sat smoking a cigar afterwards, playing with his knife and waiting for his check. Maybe he'd meet someone more interesting than that d*ckheaded kid or the poor guy who was completely freaked out.

Xavier had walked into the resturaunt, taking his simple order of a soft drink and asking Sidewinder something. "Mind if I sit here?" He was a 5"10 Man, with dark hair that had hints of purple in it. His brown eyes had a sense of experience, and a bit of smugness. He wore a black, purple and blue jacket with a black shirt worn underneath, and cargo pants that could carry a hefty amount of ammo. His runners were simple, but reinforced as if he was going for a long run. ODST armour was worn over his clothing, but still made it visible.

Can't say I care too much. he said, unconcernedly. While his mask was off, he seemed to be wearing some heavy-duty combat gear, the polyceramic plating painted a sort of desert yellowish. His left hand was cybernetic, painted to match. He seemed to be fairly well-armed as well.
-
He sat down opposite with him, placing his drink down after taking a sip of it. He then started to pull out something that looked like a large tesla coil, instead it was flowing with purple energy.
-
He raised his eyebrows at this, very few people he knew pulled forth gear as such. It was likely military-grade if not more advanced, and likely dangerous.
-
He took a deep breath, then he started putting his hand up to the Psionic Amp. The energy flowed around his arms and then into his eyes, which made his glasses glow a bright violet.
-
Alright, what gives, bro? I'm no scientist but I don't think that's normal. he said, blowing cigar smoke from his nose.
-
He didn't take notice of that sentence, as if he didn't hear it at all. In fact, he already was immersed in... Whatever he was seeing through his glasses.
-
Yo, kid? You hear me? he asked, speaking loudly.
-
Still no response. Maybe tap him?
-
Sliding his pistol from his holster, he fired it off in the air, the shot scaring many of the residents. YO! Hello!
-
It appears that his hearing is completely blocked off. It's better to at least shake him or something.
-
Reaching forward, he tapped the man with his pistol in the arm, hoping that nudging him would do something.
-
He did react to that. The purple hue slightly dispersing from his glasses, he said: "Yeah?"
-
The hell were you just doing? he asked, confusedly.
-
"Oh, just looking around in a alternate world." He took off his glasses, his purple irises turning back to brown.
-
Uh... ok... He slid the pistol back into its holster.
-
"Anyways, sorry for just sitting down here and doing some things that you probably were weirded out by. What's your name?"
-
I'd ask you the same thing, kid, but that'd be dodging the question now wouldn't it? They call me Sidewinder, like the rattlesnake.
-
"Xavier Carter. Pleased to meet you." He held out his hand for a handshake.
-
He shook with his cybernetic, the grip no more powerful than a typical human handshake. Mere politeness.
-
"So, where did you come from?"
-
"Apparently not!" The white shaggy and tall haired man walked towards the merc. Friendly, but also curious. His pale skin was matte against the cold fall while his blue iris was stunning. He grinned as he approached, chuckling to himself as he looked towards the eyepatch. "Ha! Alright. An eyepatch? Really? That's fucking hilarious and badass at the same time!"
-
Better than seeing a nasty stitched eyehole, now isn't it?
-
"Ya know, not a BAD point." Deity chuckled a bit after the two comments. "Anyways. What brings ya here Captain Ahab? Pride? Power? Knowledge?"
-
Money, gear, whatever y'all got. he said.
