Tell me if I'm wrong. You die near the end of the event and just wait to be revived. Even if you are not revived until after the boss is killed, don't you still get the rewards? I thought this happened to me once but I'm old and my memory is not that good, LOL!

If I don't get a hit I. On the boss, I get no rewards from what I've seen. So if there are three asshats camping with axes, the boss dies instantly before the orb opens to get a shot in. And I think about 1/2 of my forge attempts have ended waiting on the door to open after dying.

Don't need to hit the boss. It's been confirmed.

I once walked into an event once the boss was dying and got a but not forgotten, without a hit on the boss.
