While Ian certainly cut through it... There was still the issue of Damien's overthinking. The instant the net broke, the tiny orbs blew up into an array of different colored smokes, tear gas filling the air immediately... But not just any tear gas... No... This was Damien's own specialty. Carolina Reaper powder mixed with a trace of sulfuric acid and some chlorine... It'd get through filters... And then leave a horrible feeling... He might as well have gone with lethals... Probably less painful...

"Guess I'd better go say hi. Even though our last encounter wasn't the friendliest.." Ian says to himself, stepping back outside in search of him.

The jet that had landed was surprisingly similar to Damien's hovercraft. Slimmer, no hover blades, quad engines, large wings, and plenty more guns, but the design was relatively no different. Already a small crowd had gathered, Glitch and Joker each carrying their guns, Joker now seemingly using a large nail gun, Glitch opting for a hand crafted lightning weapon... That looked even painful to hold, exposed wires and blades everywhere. Rook had also come to see his CO, carrying dual machine pistols, each of unrecognizable manufacturer. Damien and Silence were nowhere to be seen.

The electric weapon was interesting, and so was Saber's ship. Damien had called Ian his third in command, meaning Saber was second. Even though Ian still slightly doubted that..he didn't seem like the leader type. That also meant he'd technically have to answer to Saber, but that was low on Ian's priority list. He had better things to do then get ordered around by a wannabe compared to the likes of Silence and Damien. Ian walked up amongst the group, nodding to each individual while still dressed in his armor with the helmet off and clipped to his belt. He had a myriad of weapons on his person. The pistols at his back waist, knives at his hips, Bowie knife on his thigh, UMP slung over his back, sword on his back, another knife on his opposite leg, sword belt, grenades..and that was just what was visible.

Where Ian had certainly upgraded... Sabre had changed completely. Biotech armor that had lines of energy running through it, a glossy helmet, two knives near his shoulders, a belt of grenades and tacticals, a new rifle, a dark grey line running diagonally from his left hip to right upper arm, and a jetpack... "Captain on deck, at attention!" Rook gave a hasty salute and Joker did the same, albeit more lazily. Glitch made a whimper and hit his helmet with his fist like a madman, but Sabre seemed simply amused. Seemed he had also whipped his squad into shape. He quickly lifted himself from the cockpit and leapt to the ground with a small thud, king through the cargo storage of his jet. "Sit-rep." "New member, rift activity minimal, predators to the north handled." "Good. At ease." The three men let their shoulders slouch as Sabre finally turned towards Ian, dusting off his oil covered hands and giving a slight nod. "Yeah... I remember you..."

"That's good. My feelings would've been hurt if you hadn't." Ian said with a grin, but the sarcasm was there. While everyone else had given some form of acknowledgement; Ian had simply stood there with a bemused look on his face.
-
"Heh... I'm sure... So, that makes you the subordinate?" He asks, only to burst with laughter, Glitch chuckling as well though he was probably just being weird. "I'm just yanking your chain. I stepped down. Silence is the big two. But, sergeant ain't bad." "Plus, you scared us all senseless back on Maoww."
-
That's assuming you were ever actually in charge, Ian thought to himself. "I'm digging the biotech armor though. Not bad." It was more than not bad, the damn thing was an engineering Oscar. Ian's was nice, but damn.

"Eh. Damien knows how to clean up. He's been... Busy..." Sabre remarks, pulling his helmet free, to reveal wavy dark brown hair and green eyes, with a low shadow stretching across his chin. He wasn't too bad looking, for a soldier... He clearly minded his looks. "Anyways... Glad to have an extra on the team... Hope you can keep up with some old timers... You'll have to carry our canes." He grinned and hooked his helmet to his belt, throwing an arm around Rook. "Alright... Let's grab a drink." "Or... I'll watch you."

Ian already didn't like the guy. "Yeah, I'll make sure to mark my calendar." Ian mumbles and turns to walk away towards an open stretch of desert where he wouldn't cause too much harm to the environment.
