I'm sorry you can't handle Archons Forge kiddo. But with everything you said, why should there even be enemies? You might as well just put in an offering for free loot.
You're asking to take away every aspect of AF that makes it somewhat challenging. And I have absolutely zero respect for that.

Death wipes do not make content "difficult". The content doesnt change with a death wipe mechanic

Being able to only hold 1 offering, the offering being cancelled if everyone dies, losing you offering when you fail the event. All of these factors force players to play a little smarter, because you might not get another offering right away. You can't just die and everything will be okay. You won't get the loot you're looking for as easily, you need to pay attention and be active in the forge. If thats not an increase in difficulty, I'm not sure what is. It's like saying no revives in hard raids doesn't make it more challenging. Like, what have you been smoking?

no revives in heroic raids doesn't make the content harder... again it doesnt make the content harder. The issue with that example is not many game devs know how to make content challenging without artificial difficulty from revive lock outs and hp increases on mobs

Yes, it IS more challenging. It requires that every person on a 6 man team steps their game up and executes their job. Everytime someone goes down, it gets exponentially harder for everyone else on the team. What youre thinking is mechanics. No, its not mechanically more difficult to have no revives. But saying that it doesn't make it any more challenging is just pure ignorance.

It doesn't? So year 1 nightfalls that sent you to orbit were just as easy as current nightfalls? Because that's basically the same thing.

Edited by Twotall: 10/21/2016 5:58:41 PMNo, year 1 nightfalls werent difficult because they sent you back to orbit when you team wiped... the content didnt change because you died... the only thing that happened when you wiped is that you had to reply through content you had already completed the previous try.... the whole reason Bungie got rid of that aspect of the NF was because all it did was create frustration for players
