[b]The Bandit panicks, as predicated and hops backwards, spinning around and shooting wildly.
His weapon starts clicking as several other bandits fall.
He falls to his knees, taking a handgun and firing into his mouth, taking his life.
The troops rush forward, making a bee line for the camp now that the defenses are down [/b]

"We better find that sniper!" [i]He says, rushing up to their sniper battlements.[/i]

[b]More gunfire as we make our way through the camp, the five troops seem to be doing fairly well but they are on guard. Suddenly, there is the sound of a trumpet and a there was a hail of gunfire. Ray tackled you, taking you and him to the ground as a green beam exploded over you. A mad chuckling was heard as our efforts came to a grinding halt[/b]

"Well, crap." [i]He tried to see who was up there.[/i]

[b]The man, or rather beast seemed heavily armored and immediately saw you. Ray pulled you down as the beam went over the Crate you were behind. Ray pushes you out of cover just as the beam hits the box and explodes. It sends Ray face first into the ground, steaming and you fly back, crashing into the ground on your back. Achilles jogs over, sliding behind a second crate and pulling you behind it. [/b] [i]"Sir are you alright?" [/i]

"Yeah... I'm fine..." [i]He started to lean against the crate, reloading.[/i]

[i]"The Gunner is in a prime position. He can see all four of us remaining and it allows him to keep us in check. Should we use Matt's explosives?"[/i]

"No, I've got a better idea. You've read that I can dodge an attack, any attack, while I leave behind a static doppelgänger of myself, right?"

[i]"I didn't think it was true to be honest." [/i]

"My plan is: I go out there and dodge that guy's gun, then you all throw whatever you got on him."

"Alright. Sounds like a plan." [b]Clay, Matt and Broadside reload while Achilles blindfires, giving you cover [/b]

[i]He wanders out into the open, then starts taunting.[/i] "COME ON, SHOOT ME!"

[b]The Gunner immediately turns to you, firing [/b]

[i]As soon as the projectiles reached him, they passed through him without affecting him. The 'hologram' dispersed, the actual Xavier bringing out his grenade launcher and firing.[/i]

[b]The rest of the squad pops out, and explosions ring out through the camp. All gunfire stops, and the troops kneel down by Ray[/b]

[i]He looked around for any bandits that were still alive.[/i]

[b]There were no signs of any life.[/b] "Engage thermal" [b]Broadside Reached a hand up, and engages his thermal while looking around.[/b] "They're all dead sir." [b][i][u]"Ray's okay. He'll live."[/u][/i][/b]

"Okay... So where was this signal coming from, anyway?"

[b]A wolf leaps out from the forest, leaping into the camp and deeper inside [/b] "I really hate black Operations." [b]Broadside sighs[/b] "Matt, Clay. Stay with Ray and watch him. I'll go with Achilles, and Xavier, see this signal." [b]There's a howling[/b] >Follow Wolf(?) alone, or with someone >Agree with plan >Stay in a group and create new plan

"Wait. Did you hear that?" [i]He pointed out the howling.[/i]

"Yeah what about it?" [i]"Just a wolf sir"[/i] [b]It leaps back towards us, howling [/b]

"Yeah I dunno. Just keep an eye out for it while I search for the signal." [i]He walked in the direction of the signal.[/i]

[b]The wolf walks by you, nudging you every now and then as you approach the source [/b]

[i]He stops and just shrugs.[/i] "Okay... What is it?"

[b]It starts walking in a separate direction then stops, waiting for you to follow [/b]

"Hopefully this isn't a waste of my time..." [i]He walked in the wolf's direction.[/i]
