LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS WIN LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS LOSS (OPINION ON BALANCE)

When losing goes so far, you end up quitting entirely..... I mean, Halo 5 has better balance than this crap. There NEEDS to be an in-game skill system. The SBMM that has been in effect for some time now is literally making the shit players suffer the most. I'm decent when playing Crucible. I'm ALWAYS carrying my teammates. ALWAYS! I've have over 50 end-game clips SHOWING my losses. And they're not over a few days, but IN A ROW! It gets REAL OLD! SBMM is supposed pair you up AGAINST a team that is based on your skill level. If you lose, you'll get paired up with another team a bit worse than you. You lose that, it keeps pairing you against teams that are worse and worse until you win. Then it puts you back at another team based on your skill level again. Problem with it right now? IT PAIRS YOU WITH SIMILAR SKILL EVERY GAME, NO MATTER WINS OR LOSSES! And if you win one, it will pair you against those who are better than you, then you're STUCK there until you completely lose your mind. That is NOT BALANCE. I'm NOT KIDDING HERE! I've taken breaks from Crucible. Played other games or straight up Year 1 raids with friends. It still doesn't change when I jump back in. I REALLY hope some shit admin can look into our pleas and cries for balance. It's time to remove SBMM again and instead create an in-game skill system. The game doesn't know our true skill, just pairs you up with teams who don't give 2 shits about playing the objective UNLESS it's some 3v3 bullshit like Trials. Here's my opinion as a vanilla Destiny player: -Restrict the matches to PRIMARIES ONLY until specials drop again. When special crates pop up, it give you a RANDOM special weapon, whether it's in your inventory or not. Same goes for heavy weapons. -In-game skill system. If you can look up your character on some tab in the character customization screen, you should be able to see your skill level, medal score, K/D, weapon stats, etc. as well as a TRUE SKILL level that is between 1 - 50. You can also look up others' skill in game by highlighting a player > Options > True Skill. -Add ALL maps to the rotation. Enough with the "Classic" playlists. Can't have the same map twice. I miss playing on the massive maps from Year 1. It's like they don't even exist anymore. BRING THEM BACK! -Trials NEEDS a MASSIVE rework. Too many players are "carrying" players to the lighthouse for the best rewards. This forces casual players to ignore the gametype entirely. I've been flawless on my old Xbox account a couple times from Year 1, because no one was carrying players to the lighthouse. In Year 2? It's impossible to get past 5 wins for my PSN account. NO MORE FLAWLESS BULL! (see below) -Adding to Trials, allow us to access the Lighthouse for the grimoire. Make it a permanent social space where you can buy the Trials passes, meet with other players, and have weekly leaderboards that everyone can compete with. Top players will get great rewards at the end of the Trials weekend. -The Trials passage should give challenges to players so that EVERYONE is able to open the chest on Mercury. Make it work like the Challenge of Elders pass. If you complete a challenge, the chest unlocks a reward. Complete all challenges for ADEPT weapons and armor. I think that about covers what many of us want in Year 3 Crucible. I can't stand the crap any longer. I still play to max my grimoire since all my PvE related grimoire is complete at this point.

  • When I was reading this, I was thinking to myself, I bet he's got a similar K/D to my own because this post is my exact experience in the crucible. Every player who is 1.0-1.5 are in what they call "ELO hell". You are actually part of a smaller pool of players, around 2% to be exact, so the game matches you with players between 1.5 and 2.6. Engineered losses, in an attempt to get everyone to 1.0 will only produce lower and lower player count because the algorithm doesn't account for morale.
