This event is pathetic.
Bungee should take lessons from Blizzard on how to properly do events.

I dont agree with what this guys original post says but im not gonna post against what he says, its his opinion. what I do want to say is half the people commenting weather u like destiny or not are acting like a bunch of little -blam!- its nice weather we're having today enjoy #&)
-
F@ggots* not blam hahaha

-
Junkensteins Castle is the shit!
-
I like it, and I doubt I am alone. Great job, Bungie.

Edited by Kannon: 10/26/2016 1:55:19 PMThey appreciate your money.
-
I haven't paid for any of the Halloween things. Try again.
-
So you already missed out on 99.9% of the event, congratulations on being an idiot.
-
Psssst. They aren't worth it even being free.
-
Definitely had to pay money to get 3 free treasures, 2 new emblems, 4 amazing shaders and a couple free masks.
-
Not taking sides right now but be careful with the word "free". Not a single thing in destiny is free considering there is a cost to actually buy the base game. If the game was free to play it would be a different matter.
-
It's a free update. I didn't have to pay for this additional content.
-
Actually you did. The idea that you buy a three course meal and the restaurant claiming third meal is free is not really a thing.
-
Terrible analogy.
-
-
But you did have to pay for the game. A person who does not own destiny does not get the update.
-
No way. News flash to me! I'm saying I was not promised this content upon the purchase of Destiny. This was FREE. ADDITIONAL. CONTENT. A d d i t i o n a l
-
Edited by EMW ZEEK: 10/30/2016 6:37:45 PMNot additional "promised". (Edit oh you said this I consider it promised) And it was still paid for by us even if indirectly. Also this conversation was about festival of the lost right? What content is there to begin with? 2 quests? At this point after listening to various people on the forum, reddit, and youtube I dont consider fotl to even be additional, content, or free like at all anymore. For something to really be free the person offering it needs to take some sort of a loss of revenue. Fotl alone has made bungie around 3 million dollars according to reddit. So is a company earning 3 million dollars really "free" to you?
-
Edited by Kreis: 10/30/2016 6:38:51 PMWasn't promised. I don't recall being promised festival of the lost or SRL upon the purchase of Destiny.
-
At vanilla we were promised "updates and events" Pretty sure that festival was then specified as being one of those events at the purchase of TTK. Sparrow racing might be a different story but we are not talking about that right now.
-
2 EMBLEMS?! No way! That's amazing!
i wonder how long it took them to photoshop them shitty emblems together.
I swear this community overhypes EVERYTHING
-
2 EMBLEMS?! No way! That's amazing! I swear this community overhypes EVERYTHING
we are so starved for content that even the smallest amount of content is treasured
-
It was free. It. Was. Free.
-
It never was. Look at it like this: You got to a restaurant and pay an entry fee for an all inclusive meal. The drinks aren't actually "on the house" when you do that. Now with this event not only did you already pay for an all inclusive meal....some people already paid extra for drinks for everybody. Do this event has been paid several times over and is absolutely NOT free.
-
You're really bad at making analogies. It's free additional content. Just like SRL, I didn't have to pay any additional fees to participate in this event. I don't believe I was promised access to any of these events following the purchase of Destiny. I don't have any evidence to support this statement, but I'm pretty sure you don't need Rise of Iron to participate in the Festival of the Lost event either. Festival of the Lost was not something we knew we would be getting when we purchased Destiny.
