(Could have sworn I posted this...)
Hunters are strangely the slowest character in the game, despite having the ability to max out their agility the farthest. This is because both titan skating, and warlock glide, make the user feel fast. Hunter jumps, even increased control, don't have enough horizontal movement to make me feel like I'm going any faster.
This is probably because it should be viable in PVE, but really, it just makes me feel slow. I think we should do something to have agility, and by proxy, hunters a bit more alluring for their effect on speed.
Agility effects sprint speed.
or
Allow fr0st ee5 to increase sprint speed. ( Right now they do nothing interesting.)
Thats it. Thats all. Just allow it to effect sprint speed. With this people can feel fast.
"But that O.P.!"
Than what about the fastest class in the game, titans, getting dune marchers that essentially do the same thing? (As well as being able to be coupled with juggernaut or shoulder charge.)
The problem is the 'agile' hunters, arent all that agile, and are in fact incredibly slow. Sure they have moment options like shade step, but titans have mid-air dodge (Midair > ground)
Sure hunters have blink, but warlocks have a helmet to improve their blinks. Honestly. Its really funny no one has noticed up to now. Hunters are outshined in agility by both other classes. This shouldn't be the case, since their hyped up to be the speedy glass cannons.
Point is, agility needs to have a more greater effect on speed. If this was the case, I probably wouldn't be complaining right now. However it doesn't, and what ends up happening is everyone specs for something else, and it becomes useless. Hunters have the worst of this in my opinion.
With exotics included, titans have dune marchers, and warlocks have blink helmet.
Without exotics, titans have titan skating.
Hunters can move vertically faster, but in crucible, this is a hindrance due to snipers. In PVE, this just becomes rarely helpful, and at best just allows you to get to that ledge before you're team.

Yes hunters are so slow. Grenades are so awful. Evade is trash. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why 90% of streamers main hunters.
-
Can you add in how hunter grenades suck, and are underpowered now, we've been slowly nerfed to oblivion
-
Then go fast.
-
I agree, they complain about everything and can't seem to grasp the most simple concepts.

Edited by Kino604: 11/6/2016 7:57:03 AMSo much yes to this. Hunters are the most difficult class to play in my opinion. They pretty much get nothing to aid them just for being hunters. Titans get mass amounts of armor just because they are titans, Warlocks get insanely fast recovery just because they are warlocks. Hunters get jack shit. They get slow af recovery along with not much armor, and the stat that is supposed to only be at its highest on hunters (agility) does next to nothing in comparison to the other two. Even with bones and controllled jumps, my friend who mains titan can STILL go faster than me by just titan skating. That is something that is just plain retarded if you ask me.

Edited by Aurion77: 10/29/2016 2:45:51 PMMy main complaint about hunters is they're the only class that has no combination of high armor/recovery. One of the two always has to be sacrificed for the other. As a titan main, I think it's kind of absurd that they're faster than the 'agile' class. However, I don't think they're necessarily too slow. Warlocks are still slower.

Just use -blam!-ing better control and bones of eao and you can beat anybody.
-
Agility when you scroll over it in the menu specifically say: increase jump height and movement speed. Overall, we hunters, are faster when moving around (without sprinting) and we also have a base jump (not ability jump) that is faster and higher than any other class. But that's about it
-
Bones of eao, and controlled jump When in game, if there is a low ceiling, mash the a button to hit your head on the ceiling, you'll get some serious distance
-
If they had the agility stat have a significant effect on speed, it could fix some of this.
-
Bones of eao will fix speed but I hate being tied down with one exotic. Also I'm not a fan of the looks

70 nos and 24 comments because this thread pops up every week and nobody feels like explaining something to you that you don't want to hear.

Hunters are the master class
-
Should be faster, but they aren't the slowest
-
They are faster than warlocks
-
Titans are fast, they get to objectives fast and can outrun most engagements. Hunters are agile, they can dominate the air giving them a big aerial advantage. Warlocks just floof around.
-
Dude it is not slow, just upgrade your agility Stat if that is the problem
-
You can increase sprint speed on blades subclass
-
Highly disagree I can out run two titan skate so easily you just have to utilise the Hunter to the max with both jumps sprint speed and plus 2 agility weapon
-
I highly disagree hunters have the quickest recovery from running to jumping and vise versa
-
Speed and agility are two different things. Being the most agile class, Hunters can quickly change direction, much faster than any other class, which is significant when it comes to evading and being flat out tough to pin down. Titans and Warlocks are far less efficient at changing direction and that's a bigger advantage in the majority of situations.

Agility>speed Hunters are agile, doesn't necessarily mean we are fast. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Biteria/video/22993910

If ur gonna bring in exotics then don't leave out bones of eao

Edited by A Syrian Refugee: 10/30/2016 2:59:42 AMHunters move faster than warlocks But I think Hunters jump mixed with speed would be too much. As is Hunters are very strong with movement
-
I think Bladedancers should get an agility buff when the super Is activated.
