The return of the Northern King
Rorek sat atop a small stump within the dimly lit grove. A low breeze blew through the dark orange leaves of the autumn trees. The cold weather sent a small shiver down his spine as he sat cross legged on the brown stump. But, he was keeping himself in the air. So that his bottom would not touch the stump. He kept himself up only using his ankles and sweat began to flow down his brow.
The white haired scar faced man walked around him. Putting his cane, which had a pommel of a white wolf, ahead of him before he took each of his steps. The cane crinkled the leaves, annoyingly so. But he watched the boy as a coach watches his team. Keeping an eye on his form.
"Boy! If you can't keep yourself elevated, it'll be difficult to endure a merciless foe!"

Edited by Inflatablepants: 10/31/2016 1:47:44 AMTywinn was not one for delaying the inevitable. It was always smarter to tell the apprentice what he was learning, for motivation and such. "Strong ankles make a strong stance boy! Tell me, how much do you weigh?"
-
"I have no clue.....They don't have scales in hell."
-
Tywinn sent his cane up, hitting rorek in the back of the head. "You ain't in hell anymore boy! What have you been doing? Sitting on your ass eating burgers and venison, not expecting to gain a couple pounds? The fact is, boy. If you got strong ankles that can hold your mass. You'll be able to withstand and block the same amount of mass within a strike!"
-
He yells, falling off the stump. "Well I've actually been busy looking for someone, but each time I get close the lead vanishes."
-
The man walks towards the fallen boy. The leaves underneath his feet crinkling as he puts it down in front of him. "I don't care for your own business, boy. I only care that you live through it!" Tywinn offered his right hand down to Rorek. Who then noticed a nasty scar making its way up his middle finger and up his arm.
-
He takes it, getting up and rubbing the back of his head. "Nasty scar you've got, how'd it happen?"
-
Tywinn looked at his arm, a blank expression drawn on his face. "Didn't have a good stance!" The old man grinned as he gestured for the boy to get back on the stump.
-
He stretches and get back on the stump. "So how do you know Deity?"
-
"How do I know him...? I don't. That's why I'm having you give me info on him. Speaking of which, what has the man been doing the past week?"
-
"Just training me really, nothing worth mentioning."
-
"Hmm. Not very interesting then I suppose. On your ankles now!" Rorek then realized that the deity had asked for him to meet him at the dojo for 4:04pm. Why 4:04 he had no idea. But what was the time now...?
-
"Um actually do you have any idea what the time might be?"
-
The scar faced elder looked up at the sky, his eyes squinting towards the sun. "Four-a-clock. Why? Got a date?"
-
"Deity asked me to meet him, I gotta get going." He hops off the stump, and grabs his blade.
-
"Hmph! Poor time management then! Guess we ought to work on that next. Very well. Class dismissed for the day."
-
He nods, and sprints back to the dojo
-
As the boy made his way up the steps and towards the gate, the deity was already waiting. He had a bag slung over his shoulder, and another at his feet. He wore a thick fur coat over his shoulders as he leaned on his blade, picking the dirt underneath his fingernails.
-
"Sorry for the wait, where are we off to?"
-
He looks towards Rorek. Then throws something that is very black and furry towards him. Around the size of the boys back. It's a coat, the fur around the neck looking as if it came from a black bear. It's incredibly soft to the touch, and warms up Roreks hand as he holds it. "The Ko-Rudo mountains kiddo! I got you the coat, but I sure hope you brought some boots!"

Edited by XxZANExX13: 10/31/2016 11:26:00 PM"My boots should be fine, but what's at the mountains?" He puts the jacket on
-
"Oh, ya know. Rocks.... Snow.... Ice... Yetis.... A giant castle hidden in the cliffs that may or may not have been mine. Sounds fun right? Let's go!" The deity kicked the bag up in excitement so that Rorek would carry it. He then tossed him the other bag slung around his arms.
-
He catches the bag and throws it over his shoulders. "You have a castle in the mountains?"
-
"Errrrr. The word 'have' is kind of inaccurate. More like entitled....castle.... Whatever! Let's roll!"
