The return of the Northern King
Rorek sat atop a small stump within the dimly lit grove. A low breeze blew through the dark orange leaves of the autumn trees. The cold weather sent a small shiver down his spine as he sat cross legged on the brown stump. But, he was keeping himself in the air. So that his bottom would not touch the stump. He kept himself up only using his ankles and sweat began to flow down his brow.
The white haired scar faced man walked around him. Putting his cane, which had a pommel of a white wolf, ahead of him before he took each of his steps. The cane crinkled the leaves, annoyingly so. But he watched the boy as a coach watches his team. Keeping an eye on his form.
"Boy! If you can't keep yourself elevated, it'll be difficult to endure a merciless foe!"

The deity quickly grabs the keys in Roreks hands, tugging at them. "I. AM. YOU. TEACHER! YOU DO WHAT I TELL YOU TOO! SO. LET GO OF THE DAMN KEYS KIDDO!"
-
"You suck at driving!" He continues to tug at the keys.
-
"I DO NOT!" The deity continues to tug, the keys almost out of Roreks grasp.
-
"Yes you do!" He grins as he releases his grip and sweep kick the deity to the ground, grabbing the keys and throwing them off the side of the cliff.
-
"NOOOOOO!" The deity clammers back up, looking over the edge. "GO GET THEM!"

"OH MY GOD. You are more stubborn than your dad! Hell, my dad! And he got into an argument with a bard for singing too much!"
-
"Id rather take more time then risk my life, now you gonna just stand there or what?"

Edited by Inflatablepants: 11/3/2016 5:32:49 PM"You know what....? I won't!" The deity walked up the icy road towards Rorek, walking past him. Meanwhile, back at the dojo. Zane sat at Starbucks, waiting for his guest. Just a month ago the two of them, well along with the deity, had prevented the spread of twilight. She said she was going to make sure her people had found homes on the surface of the world first before she would figure out what to do next.... Was this what this meeting was all about? She entered through the door on the east side. Her dark orange hair tied back into a ponytail which went almost halfway down her back. She wore black sweat pants, and a tank top to match that. Apparently fashion wasn't exactly her priority at the moment. Anne smiled as she spotted Zane, walking towards him. "Zane!"
-
He grins as he gets up, walking over and pulling her into a hug. "Anne, good to see you!"
-
She accepts the hug, then steps back. "You too Zane, it's been a while!"
-
"Has it been a month already? Man how time flies. You want anything, it's on the house."
-
"Well, something that'll quench my thirst is a good place to start! Errr...even though coffee will probably do the opposite of that."
-
"Well lucky for you this place is more then a coffee shop." He walks behind the counter and flips a switch, causing the menu's on the wall to flip and revealing lunch and dinner choices. "So what'll you have?"
-
Anne looked at the menu, raising an eyebrow in surprise. She looks to Zane. "I...Think I'll just get whatever you are having."
-
He chuckles, and gets two ginger ales, handing one to Anne "So how's the search for a new home been going?"
-
out of all the drinks in the world...
She takes it, raising the bottom of it in a gesture of thanks. "Well, its surprising how easy it is really. Many of the Twilit people are starting to rebuild Khalosh, actually. While the rest sort of dispersed off into the world. There's still a few thousand at the castle though. So it's only a matter of time before we get that all cleaned up." Anne looks towards a nearby table, with two chairs. "Wanna sit?"
-
Lel
He sits down, taking a sip "So how have you and Falk been?"
-
"Busy, to keep it short. But...we've been good. His leg hasn't all that right though...the tower did a number on him. But I think he's gunna be really enjoying retirement after we get things sorted."
-
"Damn, wish I still had magic to heal him, but the rest is good to hear. You guys need help with anything?"
-
"Well, we ARE building a cabin in the mountains. I'm sure he'd like your expertise in that.... And by that I mean please come and help out. He doesn't know how to do anything!"
-
He chuckles, finishing his drink. "I'd be glad to help. Also how's you and deity been?"
-
"Mmmmm. Really well." Anne takes a sip of her glass, then realizes that her companion would probably want more details. She puts the glass down in a hurry. "Oh! You know! He's come over for visits, on a horse... He's still sort of stuck in the past like you. But otherwise we are just kind of...walking right now. If that makes sense. Speaking of which, where is he?"
-
"Not sure actually, he said he was taking Rorek on a trip somewhere. But it good to hear that you two are doing well."
-
"Ya...it's nice." Anne seems to dismiss the topic, but then grows excited. "What about you and Mira?!" Ko-Rudo mountains The two adventurers walked across the narrow paths of the mountains, the cold biting at their skin as the two made their way into Snowpeak village. Though, it now mainly consisted of mounds of snow. With only a bit of the oak wood showing through the snow covered lumps. "Your dad tell you about this place kiddo?"
