"Alister Danet," stated the man quietly. "Dark brown hair and eyes with skin like mine. Looks about 15-16. He's not my son but there are a few... Similarities."
Something about his tone hinted at something Lucien possibly didn't want to share.

"Hmmm. I have not seen a boy of those traits pass this gate. Of course....I'm sure he would have gone to the village rather than the dojo."
-
"Are you quite sure? Well, would you mind if I checked just in case?" It sounded like a request, but there was an undertone of criticalness within his words. It seemed that Lucien would do anything to find the boy.

"Of course. I would escort you myself in his search." Tesutos words didn't sound like a request, but more of a given.

"My thanks, but I would prefer to work alone in this matter. Unless your request is a matter of not safety, but security?" Lucien's tone hints at the exact motive of Tesuto's want to escort him. Was he there to escort to help or to make sure Lucien didn't cause trouble?
-
"Security, respectively. I must remain suspicious of a dead man walking after all."
-
"For the last time, I am no dead man. I am but an exile in search of a boy whom I owe a blood debt to." Lucien seemed to be getting more tense as he talked, obviously getting more distressed at the time wasted.
-
"Then it would be no harm for an escort, yes?" With the samurais words, it seemed as if his decision was made. Tesuto was going to be by Lucien no matter what.

For a moment, Lucien's left hand twitched. It was as if something inside of him was just begging to draw his revolver and put a round in the man's spine to get him out of his way: the look of lethal desperation. But then he took a deep breath, remembering who he was and what promises he made. "So be it then, samurai. Lead the way."
End til the next one my guy
