Eventually her eyelids flutter open and she looks around in sudden fear, then surprise... She didn't quite sit up, but she knew that these were not her surroundings from before...

"Hi there! I saved you from some guys!" Celon had a big smile plastered across his face, looking almost like a dumb smile. It was as if he was actually happy to see her safe. Then again, it might just be him riding of the dopamine high.
-
She looked a little surprised, but otherwise made no motion of her anxiety. She tried to lift up her head but winced at the site feeling over we body, instead... She just laid there in silence... Mostly. She eventually turned to the boy, giving him a stare that was more curious and gentle then scared... But it didn't seem like she was the talkative type.
-
"You don't wanna talk, huh? Okay. That's fine! I know lots of people who don't like to talk!" His voice was excited, but gentle. As if he was afraid he'd scare the girl off of something. He wanted her to stay, there wasn't very many other people even near his age in the Dojo. "My name's Celon! Nice to meet you!"
-
"Vanille..." She whispered quietly, giving Celon a curious glance before a weak smile. She wasn't unfriendly, but she was certainly distrustful and wary... Though most in her position would be.

"Ohh... That's a pretty name. You know, I've seen something lately. A lot of people are named after puns in food! Like me, I'm named after my dad, Celin. Celin sounds like celery! Is your name a pun-thing too?" Celon's tail swished back and forth happily as he talked. That question at the end was clearly not particularly directed at her, more of a general question.
-
"I don't know..." She said simply, not quite sure what they boy meant. His attitude was a nice change, but she didn't understand who or what he was and why he was here... So many questions, so little will to ask them.
-
He looked at her with a slight look of worry. Did the Senzu mess her up? Or did she just not like to talk? He couldn't really tell. Then he thought back to the food puns... Oh! Food! He didn't ask her that yet! "Hey, are you thirsty or hungry? You've clearly been through a lot..."
-
She shook her head, pressing we hands against her forehead to feel for any pain. She felt mostly... Fine... With a deep breath, she slowly sat up, her hair bouncing slightly with the movement. "How... How did I get here...?"
-
"Well... I don't know how you got to Tatakai, but I brought you to the Dojo! It's safe here! They can't get you... Whoever they were..." The kid's smile drops away as he realizes what he did to those people... They all probably had families... Children... Wives... And he ended their lives. In an instant. "I... I killed those guys... I... I killed someone..."
-
"They are clones... If that's what you are worried about..." She mused, knowing full well that her attackers were faceless abominations that enjoyed violence and fear. "I guess I owe you my life..."
-
"It's no problem... Simply helping out someone who looked like they needed it. It's what my daddy taught me to do. Right before he passed on to Otherworld. That place is nice." The frown that had formed on his face had faded even faster than the smile, and that same dumb smile from before replaced it. He didn't feel like a monster for killing them anymore.
-
She gave him another curious look, like she had no idea what he meant... Which she didn't, but it certainly showed. It was a lot of information in a few brief moments... "Oh... I see..."
-
He facepalms. He didn't think that she wouldn't know what the stuff he was talking about. He rocks back and forth for a second, and then stops. "Do you have any questions? About anything?"
-
"What is Otherworld...?" She asked plaintively, curios to know what he meant... Perhaps just another planet? Or something more? Who knew? "And what are you...?"
-
"Otherworld is the place you go when you die! Then King Yemma judges whether you go to Heaven or Hell! King Yemma's nice. When I died, he let me go up to Heaven! It's nice up there... My daddy's there right now. Anyways, I'm a Saiyan! I'm from a different planet! Well, I'm a Half-Saiyan. My daddy was a Saiyan, my mommy was a human. I miss them both. I'm just glad to know they both made it up to heaven! They're in a really good place!" Despite the dark undertones of the conversation, Celon didn't seem very bothered by it all. Almost like he'd said the same thing a couple times.
-
Vanille raised an eyebrow, surprised by the boys cheerful nature. As far as she knew, she didn't have a father... And her mom was in trouble... "You don't get lonely...?"
-
"Yeah... But that's okay! That's why I try to make friends! But they usually just talk to me once then never again... But that's fine! I can always make more!" His cheery nature never faltered, but his smile did. It got a little smaller, like the conversation made him slightly sad.
-
"Well... I do owe you... Maybe we can be friends." She gave him a weak but genuine smile, as if very tired still, but happy because of his own goofy nature.
-
"Really? We can? You're serious? Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!" His smile grew, a bright smile, one of pure joy and happiness. It was almost like it'd been a while since he'd had an actual friend, and judging by his stories, that might just be true.
-
"People are rude... But I try not to be..." She remarked simply, willing to be friends with Celon... He was a bubbly type but that shouldn't stop her... If anything he was comforting because of his ability to protect and save... That is where he stood out.
-
"I try not to be either... It's not very nice to be rude. It's not how you make friends. I like making friends. They're always fun. Hey, how old are you?" Celon's tail swished back and forth again, him being visibly excited about having a friend. Especially a friend as quiet as Vanille. He'd never had a friend that didn't talk every five seconds.
-
"Ten and two quarters." She remarked cheerfully, her more pleasant side coming to form as she relaxed... Safety and happiness... Few were so blessed. It may not have seemed like much, but where she came from, this was all she needed.
-
"Really? And you haven't even died yet? Wow! That's pretty rare where I come from! Lucky you, I guess!" He was rocking back and forth, ecstatic about meeting Vanille. It was then he realized something. "Hey, are you tired? There's plenty of places for you to sleep!"
-
Vanille would have said yes, but for some reason, she no longer felt tired... Instead, she already had begun to feel better... At least mentally. Her head and leg still somewhat ached, but that didn't matter much. But she figured she'd have to sleep eventually, and it would be better now than later. "I suppose... If you know a place."
-
"I know lots of places! There's the extra rooms in the room complex, the old mattresses over by the kitchen... If need be you could sleep in my daddy's old room! I never go in there, I sleep in my own room!" Celon smiles, like he's proud of the fact he sleeps by himself. He'd never actually slept in his parent's bed or even room. He'd always slept by himself.
