I understand this post. as destiny player since year one i feel like i am constantly being scewed over by the reward system. e.g just last week I got an exotic engram and when you decrypt an exotic its almost guaranteed that it will be at a higher light level not for me it was 2 light levels below my current gear. I don't play trials for flawless and only for bounties and I get gear below light. played a s**t load of archons forge to try and get a 400 ghost or artefact with no luck. I mostly farmed strikes for gear but now with the rubbish drop rates of skeleton keys there just doesn't seem to be any point (also again the gear drops are below light from the horde chest!!!) want to play hard mode raid but I just cant find a capable group to raid with and all my friends have already done the raid for the week and will refuse to help me because they wont get any rewards from it. the only thing left is normal crucible, and, well, just no............ for me the most consistent source of high level gear would be iron banner which was actually very fun this year with the revised bounties and levelling (I actually had time to level 2 two characters to rank 5 in IB with great rewards) so yeah that's my opinion at least, just don't find the game as rewarding anymore s'all I'm saying.
