"Well, something that'll quench my thirst is a good place to start! Errr...even though coffee will probably do the opposite of that."

"Well lucky for you this place is more then a coffee shop." He walks behind the counter and flips a switch, causing the menu's on the wall to flip and revealing lunch and dinner choices. "So what'll you have?"
-
Anne looked at the menu, raising an eyebrow in surprise. She looks to Zane. "I...Think I'll just get whatever you are having."
-
He chuckles, and gets two ginger ales, handing one to Anne "So how's the search for a new home been going?"
-
out of all the drinks in the world...
She takes it, raising the bottom of it in a gesture of thanks. "Well, its surprising how easy it is really. Many of the Twilit people are starting to rebuild Khalosh, actually. While the rest sort of dispersed off into the world. There's still a few thousand at the castle though. So it's only a matter of time before we get that all cleaned up." Anne looks towards a nearby table, with two chairs. "Wanna sit?"
-
Lel
He sits down, taking a sip "So how have you and Falk been?"
-
"Busy, to keep it short. But...we've been good. His leg hasn't all that right though...the tower did a number on him. But I think he's gunna be really enjoying retirement after we get things sorted."
-
"Damn, wish I still had magic to heal him, but the rest is good to hear. You guys need help with anything?"
-
"Well, we ARE building a cabin in the mountains. I'm sure he'd like your expertise in that.... And by that I mean please come and help out. He doesn't know how to do anything!"
-
He chuckles, finishing his drink. "I'd be glad to help. Also how's you and deity been?"
-
"Mmmmm. Really well." Anne takes a sip of her glass, then realizes that her companion would probably want more details. She puts the glass down in a hurry. "Oh! You know! He's come over for visits, on a horse... He's still sort of stuck in the past like you. But otherwise we are just kind of...walking right now. If that makes sense. Speaking of which, where is he?"
-
"Not sure actually, he said he was taking Rorek on a trip somewhere. But it good to hear that you two are doing well."
-
"Ya...it's nice." Anne seems to dismiss the topic, but then grows excited. "What about you and Mira?!" Ko-Rudo mountains The two adventurers walked across the narrow paths of the mountains, the cold biting at their skin as the two made their way into Snowpeak village. Though, it now mainly consisted of mounds of snow. With only a bit of the oak wood showing through the snow covered lumps. "Your dad tell you about this place kiddo?"
-
"A little, said he helped out a yeti family. He closes his coat up to keep warm.
-
"Ya, he did. Got their support for the battle too. But, in the process, their entire race was almost slaughtered.... Here's the thing you gotta know kiddo. The deity walked through the snow, the white powder making its way up. Past his ankles. "Every choice you make, it matters. Each one has a Consequence. Now the consequence could be subtle....Or...." The deity swept away the snow at his feet. Revealing a cold, pale hand, with blood frozen to its wrist. "Fairly dramatic...."
-
"Geez, what happened to him?" He moves aside more snow.
-
As the snow slid away, it revealed a frozen head. Half of its face eaten up by the cold revealing the crystallized skull underneath. It's greyed out hair red with old blood. "You get it kiddo?"
-
A sickened look crosses his face. "What the hell?"
-
"Hey! Snap out of it!" The deity clapped his hands together to get Roreks attention. "We still got some ground to cover! We're heading up through the northern path, which will take us to the castle! So you can lollygag here if ya want. I'll meet you at the path in a few minutes!"
-
He snaps out of his trance. "Im right behind you...." He follows the deity.
-
The two walked to the northern path, and began their ascent. They climbed through the powder and snow which went up to their knees. Their coats became wet from the snow that melted but became hard as that same water was frozen to them. They made their way across until they hit a part of the path which branched off to the right, and the other path which was straight up.
-
He wipes the snow of his face, shivering a bit. "which way?"
-
"Well, if we take the right here we will stumble upon a cave, with a big o'l yeti inside! If we head up straight, we can make our way to the castle."
-
"A yeti huh? Might want to pay a visit. Think we can spare the time?
-
The deity looked towards the front path, then to Rorek. "Guess so. Plus, I have a feeling you were gunna do it anyways if I said no, isn't that right kiddo?"
-
He grins, and walks up the path leading to the cave. "You know it!"
