"Leaders are made, not born"

I agree with this statement

I disagree with this statement

I am not sure how I feel about this statement

Some people are made to be leaders and some people are born to be leaders

Leaders are neither made or born (explain)

Saw this in a textbook of mine but it doesn't offer an explanation. I'm curious to hear your opinions

Both. Someone can be taught to lead well, but there are some things that make a good leader that can't be taught. For example, being naturally very charismatic, having a commanding voice and presence, and other "intangibles." So I suppose the greatest leaders are born, but good leaders can be made.
