Fatal Illusion
"No vital sign of life, they declared it wasn't there
Coroner never checked, because he didn't f*cking care
Passing off the body, they all believe he died
Starting up the hearse, now for a final drive
Like whistling past a graveyard, when walking by at night
It's a fatal illusion to think that evil never dies"

Dojoville, Residential Area
The town had likely been on high alert since the past attack, which claimed the lives of nearly 100 people in the span of a few minutes. While the attacker had been killed, citizens, fighters, and even the guards who protected the training arena and the entire complex itself were worried. Never before had anyone had the guts to do something that horrible, nor go after civilian residents specifically. This was terror, but there seemed to be no reasoning for it, no clear reason.
Nobody claimed the first attack, nobody came out and praised it. The attacker himself had hardly even spoken. The details simply didn't add up. He was too well-equipped to have done it out of simple spite, too well-trained and methodical. If it were an act of terror, then there had to be a motivator... the problem was that there seemed to be no motivation. In the meantime, life had returned to normal, or so it appeared.... until screams of fear broke out in a different part of the residential area.
Residents screamed and fled from the streets outside of a cafe, the inside of which was now full of freshly-killed corpses, men, women, and children. Each of them appeared to have had their throats cut from ear to ear, and the small building was full of splattered blood, pools of it on the floor beneath bodies. On the windows, painted in blood, a message.
GIVE US THE WOLF, WE WILL KILL NO MORE
Opening the door the cafe after removing a heavy set of chains, a figure exited, feminine in stature and build, wearing a combat hardsuit as well, the insignia of the blood-red cobra on her shoulder. In one hand, she held a full tanto blade, the edge of which was glowing blue. In the other, she had a little girl by the wrist, the girl crying silently to herself. The soldier maneuvered the child in front of her, so that the blade was at her neck, nearly touching her skin. She simply waited for a response from the guards or the citizens. This situation could easily take a turn for the worst if actions were taken without consideration. Hostages always made things more difficult.

(The appearance of wolf walked in)
no hate, it's a hologram my character has used tons of times before for manipulation
-
Turning to face the person, she soon realized that it was a hologram, and promptly paid it no mind. It could do her no harm, and it was not the individual she was looking for.
-
it's not tinged blue, has thermal signitures and bio signs, there is no visible holographic projector, and there is a shadow. Unless she trys to communicate telepathically with it, there's no way she an tell the difference
-
That makes no sense. She'd know if there was no shadow, and a projection without a projector is simply impossible. Bio sign imitation I can believe, real appearance I can believe, but the other two kinda ruin it.
-
the projector is stealthed and the shadow is created by Knocking the photons of course.

Bump for order

Is Wolf your character? She's looking for my main, Jackson Wolfe. The group she is with refer to him as the Wolf.
Edited by NightBloomsFell: 11/5/2016 4:18:19 AM" now now none that just let her go"says a tall man. the man has a really calm demeanor for someone so tall. He stands a good six foot tall with hazel eyes and light brown hair. His most distinguishing feature was a pair silver wings on his back the only weapon he had was a silver and gold staff that was strapped to his back. He had full intention resolving this peacefully without any violence. "Please can we just talk?"says the man

Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 11/5/2016 4:26:48 AMWe seek the Wolf. My reasons are those of Atlas. She said flatly, a soft accent to her voice, French, maybe?. Attack me and you kill the girl and everyone in the inn to our left. The building's loaded with explosives, tied to my suit's systems. Tampering with them or killing me with trigger them. You have exactly three hours to deliver the Wolf to me. She had a position of power here. Did this newcomer really want to have all that innocent blood on his hands?
-
"Look im not gonna attack my weopan is not drawn"says the man the man had absolutely no clue who or what this wolf thing was or is. "Ummm..not trying to sound stupid but who is this so called wolf?"says the man
god i madevhim sound so dumb XD
-
You know who he is. The Wolf travels with the Courier, he is here. She said, rather sharply.
-
he think for a second trying to recall if he ever saw such a person but alas there a lot he seen so he has no clue if seen whoever this person is. "Hmm...i..see"says man
-
You have three hours. Make the most of and around and finding him. She shot back.
-
"Okay"says the man looks he was gonna have borrow aiyanna from serenity so he set off with no time to waste. Luckly for him he didn't have waste his time looking for them cause both serenity and aiyanna were out walking in the courtyard. He was always nervous when she was around cause aiyanna is a solid black wolf bright red eyes that was four times bigger than a normal wolf because she really wasn't a normal one. She was a black shuck essentialy a ghost that can take solid form at will a force to be rackoned with. Aiyanna wags her tail when she see him and serenity stop to look at him. "Yes nanos what can i do for you?"asks serenity "Umm can i borrow aiyanna for a bit i need to track down someone"says nanos "Who exactly?''asks serenity "Some wolf guy i got three hours"says nanos "Okay find by me"says serenity -what do need me to track?-
-
The individual she is referring to is one of my mains.
-
um Okay im just gonna have trackimg whoever and they just have interact with her
"Some wolf guy"says nanos -that really vague nanos but that hasn't stopped me before- with that aiyanna bounds of in search of the person he looking for she can cover even more ground than he can at faster rate and she very skilled at finding who she looking for while nanos waits to see what she will turn up "Dont worry she'll find who you are looking for she always does"says serenity

From three-quarters of a mile away, I watched through the scope of my Remington Defense MSR. I had the .338 Lapua Magnum chamber loaded in this thing, and a custom'-loaded 205 grain round sat in the chamber. After losing the fight with the first assaulting with the Cobra insignia, I decided to vacate my House temporarily. I now recognized the Cobra. That logo. Venom. The PMC. The same company I bought this very rifle from. At least, that's who I believed it to be. Seeing the little girl changed things. My finger rested on the trigger as my crosshairs rested on the wrist of the Hostage-Taker. A fraction of an inch in any direction would ruin my shot. I deliberately breathed in and out, slowing down my heart rate. Thump-Thump My finger begins to depress on the trigger slowly. Thump--Thump Just a little bit more.... Thump---Thump And... Thump - BANG! - Thump A perfect shot, right between heartbeats. The Electromagnetic Round tore through the air at immense velocity. I brought these expensive bullets out after encountering the energy shield earlier. The round collided with the wrist of the Hostage Taker within one and half seconds.
-
The shot, having come from behind, hit her in the upper arm, not completely going through her armor, but lodging itself in between the armor and her arm. Screaming, the woman cut the child's throat open, and dropped the corpse, spinning to face the direction of the shot, blade in hand.
-
"Shit!" I swear under my breath after hammering another round. Of course my elevation wasn't high enough. I prepared to teleport, but another blade, a Kukri, rested itself on my own throat. "Now, now, kid. Let it unfold. Wouldn't want any more Accidents? Would we? " The man standing over me was wearing an extremely advanced suit. On his back was an Assault Rifle, and at his side was a handgun. There was another Kukri resting at his left leg. I teleport, Attempting to wrestle him into a chokehold after teleporting about 15 yards in front of the now dead girl and the woman who killed her. I was astonished to find myself in the same situation as I was at the mountain. A knife around me throat. The other man calls out to the Hostage Taker. "What do ya want? 'Cause little sharpshooter here might have just eliminated any leverage you have." He chuckled, pressing the knife harder against my Adam's apple. "I can help you, if you please." He finishes his though.
-
Not quite. She said, voice calm. The building to your left, it is rigged with explosives. Attack me, I pull the trigger. Any interference with the bombs automatically triggers them. Kill me, they'll go off once the suit senses that I'm dead. There are still approximately 70 people in there. She did not move from her position. My demands are very clear. Bring us the Wolf, we will harm no more of your people. You have three hours to do it. Fail, and I blow the building apart. Clearly she had planned much of this out quite well.
-
"The Wolf...." The Man says, and though you couldn't see it through his armor, his eyes dawning with realization. He remembered a memo going through the CIA a while back that some kid had murdered a high-profile official. The same man who ordered the death of Cody Wolfe. Blackjack. That kid turned out to be Wolfe's son Jackson. That couldn't be possible, there's no way these guys are.... "Oh, I'll bring you the wolf."
Should I make a new post for this?
-
Yes
Good. You have three hours.

For better or worse, Lucien was now a part of whatever battle this was. He was still looking for Alister, but he had to ensure safety for him and the rest of the innocents who asked for not such harm. The salty sanguine aroma stained the air around Lucien as he approached the armoured woman with his hands up. His thick overcoat blew slightly in the bloodstained wind of the day, mostly held down by his peculiar weapons belt. To the left side of the man was a mechanical katana sheathe, with features such as an ergonomic grip, gun trigger and fuel barrel affixed to the scabbard in one way or another. Most of the armament was matte black, though some gunmetal grey areas were spray-painted with the design of a winged figure of some kind. The grip was wrapped traditionally, having siderite Celtic knots tied into its handle. Along the blade sheathe were detailed engravings resembling an Oriental tapestry, many showing the pictures of a man staring up at a many-headed beast. At his right was a large revolver holster, but with some same mechanical properties as the scabbard. It looked heavy in machinery, but the man carried it with ease as he strode towards the woman. The gas mask hanging from his waist thumped slowly against his though as he finally stopped advancing towards the woman.

Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 11/5/2016 3:39:40 AMClearly, she was trained, and she stood her ground, clutching the child, who looked absolutely terrified, even closer, blade at the girl's throat. On her shoulder, the same insignia that was on Ronin's armor, and the man who had killed over one hundred people a mere two days ago. As he advanced, she spoke, her voice soft, with a hint of an accent, maybe French? Any closer and I'll bleed her. She said it without much emotion at all. She was neither fearful nor cocky.

"Easy there. I'll stop right here, how about that?" Lucien's tone is calm, yet obviously concerned for the little girl. His anger flared beneath his collected demeanour - people who roped innocents, especially children, were dishonourable and held no respect in his eyes. "What do you want?"
