The best (fake) "alien" footage I've found online

Yes this video is 1 hour long, but definitely worth watching. Feel free to skip ahead slowly, like I did. This video is creepy, and there is a lot of cursing, so be warned. As far as I know this is real; it's not a movie! Synopsis for the lazy: Family is having a birthday party for a kid, and filming it. Things get weird, power goes out, and a crash is heard in the forest. Two male family members go investigate thinking it's a plane crash, they bring the camera with them. They discover it's an alien ship, and see, "little green men". They manage to shoot one. They bring it back to the home. They argue about what to do with it, and their safety with the rest of the family. They decide to leave the body, and the camera, there and flee to get help. Camera dies after the aliens walk into the house and out with the dead alien, who is now alive, somehow. The family supposedly disappeared afterwards. Edit: Yes, I read the description before posting this. I've heard conflicting reports about the authenticity of the film. Nevertheless it's still good entertainment. I think there may be two versions of this film, and this one is the fake one? I'll do a little more research Edit 2: it's a fake, sorry guys. I promise I'll do better on my next post. http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/The_McPherson_Tape

 • Sorry. I don't consider it worth my time to watch a low-budget 70's film feigning authenticity. Even without the link, description, the prior knowledge of the 'McPherson tape' and the word fake in the title, I wouldn't have watched it. Do I believe aliens exist? Well, there are more planets out there than grains of sand on Earth. & The universe is ~14 billion years old, with mankind has been around for ~100,000 years. So, statistically speaking.. the chances are quite probable that the conditions for life must appear elsewhere in the universe, and there has definitely been enough time for intelligence to evolve. (If we've come this far in that long, imagine how evolved a species would be had it say, 2 billion years?) - Saying that, The Dino's had 160 million years and huge brains, still didn't see that comet coming. Do I believe they've come here? Potentially, but I imagine the technology they would have in being able to travel intergalactically, would be far advanced enough to remind hidden from our much primitive, boring tech. Besides, would you if you was an alien? Hey check out this planet here, main species is the human being. Kills, and cages almost all other species on the planet. Has 14,000 ways to kill one another. Constantly in conflicts. Extremely violent. Countless films of first contact, always ends in extinction of the new species. Play video games to relax, basically repeated simulations of violence, particularly towards non-humans. No lol. If Aliens ever do come, we're most likely -blam!-ed. Could you imagine them accessing an internet satellite? My God. Where's my drink gone?
