Secondary > Primary
Think your about to engage in a primary duel? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your about to close in on someone with little health? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your going to help with the objective? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your about to spawn? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your going to live? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your going to test out your brand new Bad Juju with Hoodoom? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your going to have fun in Crucible? NOPE. Secondary fight.
Think your going to kill yours-- OH WAIT. He's using Clever Dragon. Your dead anyway.
I am a shotgunner, have been since Year 1, and even I can clarify this is ridiculous. At least I don't switch to a secondary when I am losing a primary duel. That's my job to correct my aim and win, not my secondary's.
[spoiler]EDIT: By popular demand, here's your edit. I acknowledge that I used the wrong "your", and I do believe it is "you're" that I should have used. Autocorrect am I right?
Also, I am aware that a Secondary doesn't exist in Destiny. It's a special. My fault for introducing slang terms in a post.
The original thought behind this post still stands; "you're not engaging with enough primary duels", so please don't turn this into an unpleasant space. I would actually like to [i]discuss[/i] this point rather than see "you're" everywhere. (It's a bit funny though, come on 😄)
I thought I'd leave the original post as is for a humorous effect, so don't take it to heart grammar warriors. Thanks for [b]you're[/b] understanding (JKJK DONT HATE ME).

Year 1 was the most balanced metal. (besides Thorn, broken TLW, vex, Suros, and underpowered pulse rifles and too much special ammo). That's 6 problems Bungie could've fixed. But. Instead of fixing them. They broke everything else.

A few days ago I was having fun with a few friends in private match and another friend gets on and says "could I join?" And I'm like "sure" and he joins and immediately starts running around with a matador and laughs at how bad we were doing so after 5 minutes he got the boot

6 Repliesi swap from my primary to a fusion run around a corner, pre charge and get the person that nearly got me right as i pop out, no time for reaction but no ofc that doesn't take any sort of timing/map knowledge or gunskill because anyone can start charging pop out when it fires and kill someone with the last 4 bolts of a burst -_- for snipers that bodyshot and shotgunners i can get this, but i believe sidearms and fusions are in a different category due to not being insta-guardian down- and they require more awareness luck and skill to swap to during a primary gunfight. just my opinion though, also sounds like someone is salty about the special weapon meta. *fluffs away*

Actually they are called special weapons.. They are stronger then primaries, that's why they have way less ammo lol
