When you finish the strike "The Restorative Mind" and the strike hoard chest pops up on the pillar, depending on when you killed the boss, there will be an invisible wall that pushes you away (part of the encounter mechanics). The wall prevents you from opening the strike hoard chest. That mechanic should stop when the boss is killed.
