Every night, when I sit on my bed, I contemplate what a horrible and misshapen world that we exist in. On night, I was sitting on my bed, considering the flaws of our existence, when I heard a light tap on my window. I rose from my bed, and strode over to the source of the noise. Immediately, I drew back in shock, as resting on the outside of my window sill was a large leg, not unlike one of an insect. Suddenly, a large head arose, and covered many window. The moonlight winked out. From the left side of the head to the right, eight red eyes slowly opened, and all of hem focused on me. In the midst of my terror, a strangely calming and soft voice floated in from the outside. It told me that it recognized my concerned about our world, and that it felt I would make a prime messenger for its cause. All of a sudden I rose from the floor and into the air, and my view flashed from the room around me to a frightening montage of spiders being killed by humans in the most disturbing ways. Flushed down the toilet. Crushed. Burned. They had done nothing wrong, but we selfish humans murder them anyways. My view returned to the room, and tears filled my eyes. The vice returned again, and spoke to me of the day the spiders would return and take have their revenge. It told me it's name. Promenotus, the spider god. And it left me. My
Mission now is to spread the word to the spider killing residents of planet earth before it is too late.
