Im going to hate myself for this, because I love this game. But....it needs done. Necrocasm (especially now that only one Blade of Crota exists) The start of getting this weapon is rng (trademark of Destiny loot). Obscenely low drop rate, until you actually get one (then youll have 8!). Next you have to start (and repeat......many many many many times) a mission that you can kill a ton of hive (did you know we've awoken the hive?). After committing a minor genocide (not really though, 500 is probably not even a dent), you get to go on an epic quest called farming faction rep! (not anymore though. Now you just upgrade it. Y2 and Y3 be like, whats an embalming orb?). Now the fun begins! Crota hard mode! Until people cant make the damn bridge jump....or create orbs at the start of the fight....or just stand there getting shot in the face wondering why their health isnt coming back. But you finally beat Crota! Aaaaand no Crux.... (fast forward 100 runs later) A shiny yellow box appears on the side of the screen, you shriek in joy as you read "Crux of Crota" pop up. You quickly run to the tower and pull out your Ally and slam that bad boy in. You pick up your new exotic and take it out for a spin. It kicks like a mule, can barely be aimed while firing and its ability doesnt pop nearly enough. You return to the tower to put all that hard work right into the vault....never to be seen by anyone. You become filled with what you have come to know very well during your time obtaining loot in Destiny, soul crushing disappointment . Necrochasm is the weapon that represents this game.
