[i]She curled up into a tight ball with her fluffy tail covering her face and whimpered. You could make out bruises and infected cuts all over her body.[/i]

[i]"You look like you could use a pick me up.."[/i] [b][i]He gently slid a red needle with a red cross on it to her, along with a protein bar.[/i][/b] [i]"What happened to you?"[/i] [b][i]He asked, pulling down his hood. He looked to be about 25, and was rather handsome and normal looking.. until you saw his eyes.. His left eye had a bright white pupil at the center of black void, and hos right eye had a black, void-like pupil at the center of white, and bright light.[/i][/b]

[i]She didn't look up as she flinched from the movement towards her. Her body shook in fear.[/i]

[i]"If I wanted to harm you, you'd be dead."[/i] [b][i]It was clear he didn't quite have a way with words... His eyes didn't leave her, watching and observing her.[/i][/b] [i]"I can't help if you don't let me, lass."[/i] [b][i]He squatted down in front of her, slowly as not to scare her.[/i][/b] [i]"Please."[/i]

[i]She slowely uncovered her eyes. They were a brilliant, bright, sparkly blue and they look like they've seen a lifetime of abuse.[/i]

[b][i]He sighed, looking deep into her eyes and.. observing.[/i][/b] [i]"You can trust me."[/i] [b][i]He said in a very believable voice. He didn't sound emotional, oddly enough. Perhaps it was just part of him.[/i][/b]

[i]She quickly averts her eyes and slowly uncurls herself.[/i]

[b][i]He stepped back, giving her her space.[/i][/b]

[i]She got on to all fours, but kept her head facing the ground.[/i]

[b][i]He slowly turned away, running a hand through his messy but clean jet black hair before pulling his hood over his head.[/i][/b]

[i]Cautiously she stood up, holding her fluffy tail tightly.[/i]

[i]Her voice is weak and quiet.[/i] "Food?"

[b][i]He nodded.[/i][/b] [i]"Of course."[/i] [b][i]He placed a large wad of cash into her hand along with a stimpak, a protein bar, and a bottle of water.[/i][/b]

[i]She handed back the cash and stimpak. She quickly ate the bar and jugged the water like she hasn't had either for a week.[/i]

[i]"Hm.."[/i] [b][i]He pocketed the items before turning and walking away again.[/i][/b]
