"No. No jokes. I want to ask you something. Do you actually think it's okay that you treat the runts like toys, pretty much? They're still people aren't they?"

Sasha rolls her eyes. "I don't know how your people do it, but runts aren't considered equals in the clan. They deserve that title either because they did something unspeakable or they're unable to transform."
-
"What does them not being able to transform make them any less? Any less of a person? Personally, I think it's a tad unfair, don't you?"
-
Sasha shrugs. "They can't contribute as much...I guess? I don't know, it's the code."
-
"That's another thing I was meaning to ask. What exactly is the code? What are the rules in it?"
-
Sasha scratches the back of her neck nervously. "I never really paid attention in school."
-
"Whatever it is, doesn't it seem unethical? Like it's not right? Humans live with all as equals, and honestly? We seem to be doing better. If you treat everyone equally, they work harder."
-
Sasha rolls her eyes. "I didn't come along to be boringly philosophical or whatever. I was hoping to get out and have fun while also helping the search to find the runt."
-
"Do you wanna know why I'm asking you this? Because I want to make sure you're gonna treat that poor girl right. Artemis doesn't deserve to be beaten or cut. If she ain't safe where you guys keep her, because she ain't inside your clan cave... Thing right now, it's against my orders to let you take her back there."
-
Sasha had already started walking away within your first sentence. "Come on, we got a young pup to save!"
-
I smile behind my helmet, running after her, MG hand at my hip, just in case we run into trouble and I had to pull my pistol. "One last thing! Don't kill them unless I say so. Technically I'm the one heading this little operation of me and you, so I have to give the kill order. Take non-lethal shots."
-
She starts to get into a slow jog...an olympic human's sprint. "Okay, sure thing. I just want my clan member back."
-
Guess it's a good thing I could sprint as fast as an Olympic Sprinter. I ran beside her. "Let's go get 'er, Sasha!"
-
Sasha looked at you with a huge smile. "You're a fast on, eh? Bet I can run faster!" She starts running 35mph with her huge rifle swinging on her back.
-
I speed up, NCR Rangers are trained to be fast, but I wasn't that fast. "Ya got me! Can't go any faster!"
-
Sasha slows down enoughfor hrant to catch up. "Aw, I was hoping someone could actually challenge my speed. No one in my clan can come close."
-
"If I trained I might be able to, but I'm way too old to get any better. Things are only getting worse for me."
-
Sasha laughs with a large smile. "Old people are so much fun! Wolves my age are just searching for mates. Other girls my age always tell me, 'Why don't you settle down? You've got all the males falling for you and you don't even care!', I always respond with, 'I'll settle down when I find a wolf that can keep up.'. But you, you old people are just about fun, wisdom, and good stories."
-
"I've got stories that's for sure. I've got good stories. But none of them are happy. And Sasha, take my advice. You're gonna want to get someone to have with you early on. It's not very good to try later in life. I learned that the hard way."
-
Sasha shrugs. "Meh, I'm not the lover type. I'll just stick to doing the fun things. A mate would just hold me back."
-
"Sasha... I used to think stuff like that. Guess what happened? When I finally got married, I didn't know what to do. Young brain wasn't there anymore. It was right after I finished my first tour with the NCR. Wanna know what not knowing what to do got me? My wife and my kid dead, that's what it got me. Take advantage of your youth, Sasha. It's damn worth it."

-
"Fine. We'll finish this talk later. After we find Artemis."
-
Sasha nods as they arrive at the Dojo gates. "Knock knock."
-
I kick open the gates. I live here, they wouldn't care. I walk in. "Come on. No time to waste."
-
Sasha chuckles and follows Grant. "That's one way of doing it."
