Which raid was the worst for you? (I did not include the prison of elders because it is an arena).
-
Nah. They were all decent in their own ways. Not voting.
-
i can understand why people didn't like crotas end, but why kings fall? it was long and challenging, there were lots of different mechanics, it had the most bosses and the jumping puzzles were great. the only bad thing about it was the loot drops and how ugly the armour looked
-
Since I can solo the Crota's end raid. It's not a raid.
-
Crota's End wasn't a raid, it was a glorified strike.
-
All hate on crotas end is from people who ONLY cheesed the raid. Play the whole thing legitimately and it's not nearly as easy as people seem to be remembering it. Most of the time, it required someone to cheese it in order for teams to actually beat it.
-
VoG was the best Crota was kind of fun Kings Fall was annoying because of drop rates and infusion rates. Also too long Haven't completed WotM yet. Enjoyed it outside of the binary code part
-
Crota, seriously all the -blam!-ing thrall screaming..
-
Crota's End. Too short and you can get a flawless raider achievement doing it solo. That's not a raid... Funny how a lot of people picked King's Fall, did you guys really hate it that much?
-
I dislike all of them. I still need a helmet to hit 400 though, so I'm going to put myself through the hell of WotM once again.
-
Let's be honest, none of them are bad. Here's a list of reasons to save the forums time. WotM- too short, relying on other players Kings fall- too long, too mechanic heavy Scrota's end- this is a strike VoG- just no. You're welcome
-
I think they're all pretty good.
-
WoTM really improved on both KF and CE. We had a middling combination of mechanics, distinct themes to each fight, a necessity for the whole team to work together and communicate. The raid armour looks good and has almost exotic perks. I genuinely can't go without the chest or gauntlets because they're so useful. Weapons are great too but could have been more cool looking.
-
As short as crotas end was I don't believe it was the worst. It had great mechanics and was challenging. Sadly everyone preferred to cheese its mechanics.
-
I like them all, crotas end is very short but good fun, kings fall is awesome but is the raid I always found most boring so I choose that.
-
Crota's End is a sad excuse for a raid. It is, at best, a strike.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
-
2% never played vault of glass
-
Crotas end- worst raid but, by far the best strike!
-
Kings fall is too strict. If one person dies your run is done. Now every WotM if one person dies, everyone wants to wipe even though each encounter is easy with 4 people.
-
For me its oryx. Yeah i could probably go back and beat it now (been through the whole thing just no completion) and it wouldnt be too hard. But for me it was like they just threw more crap at it. The whole point was to have a mechanic to beat the boss, not 7 mechanics that really didnt need to be there. Bungies way of making things harder these days seems to be "throw them in a room with enemies...too easy? Lets add more enemies. Not there yet? How about some more!" VoG was good. Was a month before people even knew there was a cave that lead to atheon. And each boss had ONE mechanic that REQUIRED a group. Now they just throw in way too many mechanics and endless enemies and wait for people to solo it. I remember back when you actually needed a team, not because it was hard but because the door couldnt be unlocked or the boss couldnt be beaten unless you had multiple people to do their parts. Now its just meh. Yeah the machine is alright but its kinda too little too late. Just hope destiny 2 has better boss mechanics and less just throwing us in a hole with tons of enemies.

Kings Fall> WoTM
-
That crotas end. Kinda to many mechanics for a strike...
-
I had fun playing all of them, but the Hive get on my last nerve and CE was so cheese filled that it became a joke, so it got my vote for worst
-
I wouldn't say there is a worst. I mean they're all unique in their own way. I've thoroughly enjoyed them all. And sure, some are short and trivial now like crota's end, but at the time it was a fast paced adventure that ended with a sword fight. And there was more to it back then, ogre room etc, everyone hidding above a door lol. Good times. Vog was epic. Kings fall a real test of team cohesion. And wrath i feel hits the sweet spot. Best raid so far in my opinion.

Edited by Deadlyknights79: 11/11/2016 5:38:38 PMRemove the cheese from CE and it becomes half decent, and maybe change the start and have some objective while running the maze Sure I cheese it when I solo or run small groups, but thing is damn fun with your friends and no cheese I never liked KF(only even bothered to finish it a couple times), too many things can go wrong if even one person dies...not so forgiving for LFGs VoG stands on its own IMO for being first and still holding in for alot of earlier Guardians I've only done Wrath once on HM and was a full clan run...it felt easy, now it may be harder in LFG but I don't feel like the encounters were all that difficult and I don't feel like the bosses mean much We knew little of VoG before going in, but again it's the first raid...in CE we knew the stakes, Crota was bad ass and needed to be stopped, Oryx was pissed and came to say hi for killing his son(with his own sword), who the hell is Akiss?...some random name that is not even said during the story (Shiro says some about a "Devil Splicer" but that's right at the end)
-
Stop -blam!-ing complaining!! All raids are fun, all raids where challenging the first 3 weeks. Stop this shit! No more raid shaming. They are all cool
-
How are people voting KF... that was a great raid
